What a great restaurant. Any time I walk in to an establishment playing Christian music, I already know it's going to be great. And then I saw the huge sign announcing a veteran discount. Our visit got even better when we were greeted by a friendly older gentleman and shown to the presidential table. Lol Our server was super nice, checkout was easy and our food was delicious. You should definitely end with a breakfast dessert. French toast made out of banana bread? Yes please!
These people really know how to cook!! Do not miss out on the “Bonuts” - a donut that was more like a perfectly done sweet hush puppy dipped in caramel, cinnamon, and powdered sugar. I will be dreaming about these for a long time! My French toast was prepared to perfection topped with fried chicken tenders and a hot honey butter that had a bit of spiciness. Also has to try the potato salad- wow, loved it too!! Husband enjoyed biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs all cooked very well and mush enjoyed, also. Got there at 11:00 and had a 1.5 hour wait but it was worth it! They are only open until 3:00.
The food was good, we got tandem bike and bonuts (freshly made). I think the servers name was Josh. He gave us some recommendations and they were really good.
After we got our food, no one came to check if we needed anything until we were finished.
The table we sat was not balanced it was shaky. But that was the least.
What a fun and delicious place! Our wait, Taylor, was a hoot! The eggs were scrambled perfectly, and oh man, the Banana Bread French Toast was amazing. The patio is very dog friendly!!! Great relaxing vibe, and perfect before a day of shopping in Highlands. The menu has so much to choose from!
Some young ladies who work at a beautiful clothing store on Main Street HIGHLY recommended this cafe to me and I was so glad I went! The food was delicious. I had the chicken salad salad with oranges, cranberries, pecans and so much more! It was fresh fresh fresh and the raspberry vinaigrette was yummy. Every single employee I met was so kind to me and my dog (we sat outside in their cozy courtyard under the umbrellas). And what made this even more special was that all of the customers we met were friendly and kind, too. What a gem!
Our family of 6 visited twice this week, and we are big fans! We had both the breakfast and lunch menus, tried a wide variety of foods and everything was amazing! I would rate this a must visit! Special high marks go to the pastrami ruben sandwich, Korean BBQ cheese grits, pancakes, the biscuits. Great work by the entire team and thank you for two outstanding meals.
Everything we had was delicious! Our waiter had the best personality and spoke highly of the chef. Between all of 6 of us we had the French dip, the Ribeye cheese steak, the Pecan chicken salad, and the Caramel apple French toast. It did not disappoint. Will definitely be back again.
LOVE! Very friendly staff! The owner is very personable and makes every one feel at home. Food and coffee are delicious. We came back the second day of our visit. I had the yummy key lime French toast but forgot to take a picture 😜
The wait was so worth it. My banana bread French toast was amazing. My husband got biscuits, sausage, gravy and eggs and it was so good. Our friends joined us one got the the bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato sandwich and the other a custom omelette. We all loved our food. Would totally recommend
Got some brunch while checking out the Highlands area. Restaurant was very crowded and we had to share a table with another group, which was a bit odd. Biscuits were delicious though and enjoyed our meal here!
Awesome breakfast place! The service was great, people were super friendly, and everything here is made fresh, never frozen. Very great experience and I will absolutely be back! I want to try everything on their menu.
I went for lunch on a beautiful fall Wednesday and it was packed! Line out the door and a wait which is usually a good sign. Even though he was swamped, the gentleman that took my to go order was very friendly and made sure I got the spicy ranch for my low rider burrito that he recommended. The burrito was spectacular and he was absolutely right about the spicy ranch! What a difference being good at what you do makes, he could have been stressed out and short with everyone but he was jovial and kind to everyone I saw him interact with. I will definitely be going back!!
Very cute Cafe and friendly staff! Delicious food. I absolutely loved the pastrami hash! Chicken fried steak was amazing as well. Would definitely come back!
Blue Bike Cafe will be the highlight of your day! It's quaint, clean, friendly and most of all delicious!! It's an absolutely incredible brunch restaurant. It has a mountain chateau feel that is very welcoming. I had the pastrami reuben and side salad. Dynamite, let me tell you! I added this place as a ♥️ on my Google maps. Y'all swing in and eat, you'll be very happy you did!
Easy location to walk to if staying near town. I ate breakfast here twice and loved it. We were seated quickly by friendly staff both times. The food was delicious: the first day I had a biscuit with sausage gravy and the second I had pancakes and a fruit bowl ( decent sized and good variety). I would definitely eat here again.
My date and I walked to Highlands town yesterday and chose the Blue Bike Cafe for brunch. We sat on the front patio at a pleasant shaded table and received cheerful service. The menu was a delicious selection of full breakfasts and lunches. It’s definitely a step up from diner food and comfortably familiar (grand slam, omelettes, grits, burgers, pancakes, chicken fingers, etc). I heard it is crowded on weekends and is only open till 3pm. Definitely worth a nice meal with your partner. It’s kid and dog friendly.
This food was amazing! I had Eggs Benedict and it was scrumptious! Best I've ever had. Also tried the banana nut bread french toast with pecans and praline sauce. Just melts in your mouth! The cheese grits were very smooth. Never had grits that fine before.
Wife has Celiac and this place catered to that expertly. Gluten free banana bread shouldn't be that good. Recommend chorizo grits, or any grits they serve really. Great staff, brought us coffee while we waited for a table, fast service and easy pay options.
