This restaurant is the opposite of the typical "Highland Park" aesthetic. You won't find HP mom's that are 90 lbs, driving 50 foot long $100,000 SUV's picking up here. Food is great, service is great, price is nice. I love it.

Honestly... I love this place.... The food is always spot on... The woman at the register is sooooo super sweet... It's the picture perfect breakfast/lunch place from the 80's....and that's what you want when you walk in there.

A little moody, the interior clearly hasn't been updated since the 70s, but all in all a decent place for a good, hearty breakfast. Coming here to eat is like walking into an old friend's kitchen. Friendly service and solid, hearty meals. Definitely recommend as a great brunch place for out-of-town visitors to show them a great Highland Park classic!
