K And W Cafeterias

Generally good food but have had poor service the last two times I have been here. The last time the server purposely gave me smallest and dried out portions of the main dish. He even wanted to make an issue with me. Thankfully the waiter took it back and gave me a replacement. Also the bread was dry and over cooked. Not sure what is going on here but I can’t recommend this location.

We like to eat at K & W. They offer a variety of salads, main dishes, sides, and desserts to choose from. Normally, our experience is great--the food is hot, fresh, and not overly salty. On this one occasion, however, the entree was lukewarm (almost cold), the soft roll was hard, and the side dish was also lukewarm. On the other hand, when I commented on the lack of pecan pie, one of the servers brought me a piece out of the back. I'm hoping this was a singular event since it hasn't happened before.

We used to love eating here but within the past year the food has not been up to par with what it used to be. It's become flavorless and not fresh. The service is cold and unfriendly. We always manage to get the same waitress (if you can call her that)...We are extremely lucky if she even checks on us ONCE in the 35-45 minutes that we are there and if she does it's not friendly, she acts like we are inconveniencing her! The only people I ever see her helping are tables full of men, to whom I watch her check on NUMEROUS times while ignoring us. After having to send so much food back and giving more changes than deserved, we will definitely not be going back!

I 'll been coming there even as a kid. I always loved it. The tea is still good. Last time I got fried chicken and it was very small and very little meat. The cost had gone up to over $5 The time before last it was bloody. A lot of the food is cold. I love the baked spaghetti but after new management took over it don't taste the same. Today I was looking forward to it and it didn't taste good . It was burn on top and I just cut it off . But then the bottom was burn also. The pie which was so good is now not fresh and the slice is about 1/2 the size it use to be. You also stop having sugar free apple pie .On top of this there is only 2 people that I been seeing there for a long . So I think new management came in and clean house of all the people that has been there. Not only that but the cooks and down home recipes seem to no longer be there . By you doing this trying to make more money for less you have only hurt yourself. Now I and lots more will have to find some where else to eat. Shame on you !

I was very dissatisfied. Yams had ice flakes and uncooked Spaghetti was under cooked and it looked like they just put a whole bunch of tomatoes sauce on it. Chicken pot pie was dry like the desert no flavor at all constantly had to drink water. Soft roll were not fresh and hard as a brick. Forgot my daughter order. Very poor customer service lady told me to wait until she gets off break then told me to wait in line and served me a sorry ugly attitude. NEVER AM I EVER GONE COME BACK

Business travelers so we ran in for lunch. Bathrooms are in desperate need of update. They can’t be cleaned enough to look good. No one working salads but the staff was friendly running back and forth. My food was not really hot , just warm. The cherry pie was gonna be our highlight. We put the fork in and found that the the filling had turned in to a thick jelled slime that I could pull up 6” with my fork. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I eat at the locations in WS all the time with great success. We had a whole 6 cherries. (Not good pie at all ). Very disappointing visit.
