Pantry Fried Chicken #2

This place offers excellent local fried chicken in an unexpected location. It is situated inside a gas station, which may seem a bit sketchy, but the staff are courteous and friendly. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and the fried gizzard is also a delicious treat. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying meal.

The chicken pantry is a convenience store so go in there with that in mind. Multi national employees staff the facility and all seemed willing to assist me especially on my first visit when they kinda had to explain the menu options. I have tried the wings, liver, breast and nuggets. I have nothing negative to say at all. It's not your usually fast food experience, but in many ways easier. The order options are numerous and it's quick , easy in and out. I thought I was at grandmama's house when I bit into the seasoned crust around the juicy meat.

I love the chicken and wedges there... the employees are very pleasant unlike the other store down the road. I noticed that another review said the store was dirty. Some people need to realize in the gas station food dept how fast people working come in and out and it depends on the time of day that person came in. With all the businesses around and the hotel and the highway... you get rushes and can't stop and just quit waiting on other customers to clean the place spotless. I have worked in a few places like this. Atleast you can see who handles your food. You know that nothing is done spiteful to your food. Plus vendors coming in and stocking up the shelves. Not to mention the 3 or 4 highways right there to exit from for gas cigarettes and food. Now a new car wash as well. I've rarely seen anything that was unsatisfactory or unsanitary and I'm a really picky eater and I will call it out quickly. I've never gotten raw or undercooked meat . Plus it is fresh and tender like it should be. Not trying to be rude but unless you have ever worked for a place like that most people do not understand how fast paced it is... and it wears you down to the point after the rush is over you just want to find a place to sit down and hide and smoke a couple cigarettes if u smoke. Take a 10 to 15 min break if u can then clean up and get ready to do it again... I have never saw an employee without a mask on since Covid hit. I love the chicken tenders boneless and wedges... with hot sauce and ranch. Then the corndogs... I really like about everything they serve!

I love this spot! Is quick and easy if they don't have the food ready for you they will fix it up real quick. The price is fair, it's not expensive but not cheap either. I will say if you get the combo with potato wedges it's too much for one person to eat unless you got a big appetite. Of course they have chicken tenders boneless wings but also they have fried fish fillet and it's excellent! Another good thing about this where you cannot find in a lot of places is they also have fried chicken gizzards and livers! Great place to get a quick chicken fix!
