Phillip Arthur's Cafe

I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and got the Little Piggies panini. What a delicious sandwich! I got the fries as well which I think are usually just a write off but these fries were fresh, super crispy, and had a nice seasoning to them. It was a little pricier all in than I wanted, BUT I think it was worth it. I'll be back!

I was not impressed by this establishment at all. 1) for the standards of chocolate ave or just proximity to the park this is a dated establishment . Imagine dark older restaurant feel. 2) some kind of smell overpowers you when walking in. 3) According to the cashier there is no competition in the area for a hershey chocolate ice cream experience. 4) Nothing special about the ice cream either Which I could suggest a better place , my friends said duck donut is down the street

We ate on a Saturday morning and just beat the breakfast rush. People were waiting outside for a chance to eat here. I had Blueberry Pancakes with an order of bacon and my Husband had a Sausage Gravy Breakfast Skillet. Both dishes were outstanding! I've had a lot of pancakes, but these were really tops! There were only two cooks and two waitresses, and while we did wait a bit on food, our coffee mugs never emptied, and the waitress was very attentive.

Here for my daughters lacrosse tournament, the girls wanted pizza and Phillip Arthur’s Cafe popped up. We decided to give it a try. Went inside to be seated and the racist white woman with the glasses behind the counter shouted “Can you close the door. 1. We don’t like flies and 2. We have AC and want to keep it in.” We were confused because when we walked in, the door was wide open. Her tone was rude, abrasive, condescending and disrespectful. Even her offering that pacifying explanation was unnecessary. She was talking to us as if we were children. We immediately turned around and left the establishment. I wouldn’t recommend any minorities to support this place .

Our party visited this restaurant for breakfast. The inside is very cozy, and one is surrounded by the rich smells of a greasy-spoon breakfast. Service was prompt and the food delicious. I ordered the New York omelette, which consisted of smoked salmon and onions. The meal was served with lightly-fried potatoes. Everything was well-seasoned and the salmon did not overpower the rest of the omelette. It was unfortunate that this establishment was closed on Monday and Tuesday, as my party and I would have returned each morning for breakfast.
