El Toro Loco

I was not that impressed, the street tacos were pretty salty and that's a go margaritas were Really weak! There's a ton of Mexican restaurants here in Nashville that is excellent, I just don't think this is one of my favorites!! But for the record I only ate there one time and maybe it was one of those things where the cook was off His is or her game that day! But for now I am rating this place three stars, and I will go back once again just to make sure and if it's better than my first visit I will update my review!

This place was not what I expected at all! I came during a Sunday the place it’s self is small but boy was it busy! We had to wait for a table it took less the 5 minutes. The place is very clean and organized beautiful place. The waiter we got was amazing! So nice and respectful! Drinks were so good! The food was delicious! I will say though the meals portion are a little small in our opinion! I didn’t leave full and I always tend to take my left overs home but not at this place. I do still recommend it for sure !!! I will definitely be back !

Great food and service, we were sat pretty quickly and our food was brought out hot and fresh. The taste was different from other Mexican restaurants so that left me a little shocked and I almost didn’t eat my food but I gave it another go and thoroughly enjoyed it. The waitress was nice and understanding when I botched some words and replaced a dish that I pronounced incorrectly and was given a dish similar to what I said (it was the wrong dish as I said the name wrong). The price was also fairly reasonable and for two appetizers with a main meal, a custom and a side of meat it costed me less that $40 ($36-$39) and I was able to get 20% off of the original cost so it was even cheaper than what I just quoted. I will say that the menu you see in their photos has different prices from what I saw when I got in (there was a -$4 difference from what I had originally priced) so here is the 2022 menu with prices.

My husband and I were looking for a place to pick up some food last night. We did a Google search and found El Toro. I was a bit hesitant at first but I'm so glad that went away because let me tell you this place by far has the best Mexican food around!!! Food was so good I even told the owner how amazing the food was and our waiter was excellent!! I can't believe we live so close to this place and never ate here. Please go, run to El Toro Loco you will not be disappointed!!
