If are considering going be sure and ask the prices. I got 1 cheese dip, guacamole, salsa and bag of chips for $26. When questioned about the prices he said the menu is not correct and the online menu prices are not correct either. It came to $5 for a 3/4 bag of chips and $6 per salsa. This seems kinda pricey for what you get. In a previous order we were not too impressed with what we brought home but everyone has an off night. But after today, with change in prices and attitude when questioned about it, that is enough for me.

We wished Linda and John Holmes a great retirement. The staff helped us to surprise Linda. They allowed us privacy outside. They even helped us decorate!
They were fast, friendly and helpful.
The food was good. The peach and strawberry margueritas were delightful.
They allowed us to bring in the chocolate retirement cake, and party ware. They even took our pix beside the beautiful fountain . " Adios Bitchachos!"

We ordered over the phone for carry out. Gave us the completely wrong order. Took it back. Argued with us that we didn’t know what we ordered. Ordered enchiladas and a chicken chimichanga, got a steak and steak and rice instead

Never has a chance to actually dine here. Went for Lunch with the family. Managed to get our drinks, then chips and salsa about 5 minutes later. About 10-12 minutes after, was approached by the server (owner), asked a few questions, he retrieved a full menu, then walked away from my table. Watched for another 8-10 minutes as he served, no less than, 3 other tables without even checking back with ours.
At this point, I just left the establishment. I was very disappointed with the level of service, which seems so be consistently lackluster in this entire city; with every restaurant.

They were very nice & got our meals out as soon as they could. Actually didn't take much longer than normal.

The always delivered nachos were hot & crispy. Salsa has a good burn if you don't ask for the mild. Lots of cilantro!
Plenty of cheese on the refried beans & rice was oh so gooood!
I had the fajita steak. Man it was very good & seasoned.
I'll definitely be back!

This used to be the only place I would come to have Mexican food. The place has gone down hill so bad. We never come here anymore and always go to Evansville. Today we decided we’d just come here because we just didn’t want to go to Evansville. Worst decision ever. Rudest woman server l have ever seen. When I asked for some salsa mixed half and half she told me I could do it myself. For real? Cause the other person at the table wants none? Then we couldn’t get salsa or chip refills. When we needed drink refill she just came and banged a pitcher of soda on the table and left it sitting. Thanks for reminding me why I stopped coming here. Sorry for being confused your OPEN sign indicated customers were welcome.

A friend from Owensboro came to dinner with me tonight, and we decided on Los Toribio. Food was ok, but the service was terrible! We did have a waitress, who as been there a long time, and at one point when I asked for more salsa, she said "when I get a chance" in passing. She never returned to our table except to take the order and bring the bill. Unfortunately, our tip reflect our service.

Most authentic Mexican restaurant in the tri-state...all others taste like chain restaurants. The others may have cheaper prices or bigger portions but their food reflects that...you get what you pay for! If you're looking for the best tasting Mexican food...hands down it's Los Toribio! All of these people giving negative reviews for bad service...every restaurant has bad days and even bad servers...I hope they give them a second chance before writing a bad review. It's hard for businesses to make it these days with social media.

We love the carnitas here! So for our Labor Day family get together .....we had Los Toribio provide the food....not only did we not have to cook...we had so much delicious food....actually so much most everyone took some with them and my husband ate on it all week! If you haven't tried them I highly recommend the carnitas....crispy pork chunks ....the generous sides salsa, beans, rice, pico de gallo, and the tomatillo sauce make for a great experience at Los Toribios ! The manager also called this week to make sure everything was satisfactory .....it was more than that....it was over the top!

My husband took my two girls and himself there today. The girls order chicken nuggets and fries. While my daughter takes her chicken nuggets off her plate, a COCKROACH comes out of her fries. So my husband calls the waiter over and they ask my husband, well what do you want us to do about it ? Really???!!! My husband says to bring out some more fries. Needless to say he is alot nicer than I am. As they are waiting, another COCKROACH comes across the other plate of my other child!!! He looks to find two or three crawling on the wall!! So the waiter tells him, well since you ate a few of the fries you need to pay for the one meal. Okay thanks for your cockroach infested restaurant and allowing US to pay for the disgusting food you serve. Ridiculous.
