Review Serrano's Mexican Grill - Henderson

This place is so good. The ceviche was a little spicy but had great flavor. We went in the middle of the day on Sunday, so the restaurant was absolutely empty (yay). The food was made fresh after we ordered, but we were okay with the wait. I prefer to wait for fresh food then get leftover food from hours ago (but that's just me!). But, the food still came out pretty fast. The beans & rice are so good. I can't comment on the guacamole because I am allergic, but my mother & fiancee said it was good. The two employees working there were very nice. They also have a drive thru coming soon, so I will definitely be coming here more often after the drive through is installed. Either way, come check this place out.

Great prices, great food and great service! The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The employees had great customer service. The food was a little different than the "normal" Mexican food we have here in the valley. Everything we tried was delicious. I had steak enchiladas and my husband had a burrito. Prices were very reasonable for what we got. Food was cooked to order and took about 10 minutes to come out. They also have a small salsa bar with a nice variety of salsa. Its not a fast food place. Its a sit down that is semi self-serve. You get your own drinks and order at the register. The servers bring you the food and clean up. We will definitely come back with the family!!!

Great food and tasty salsas! Tried the chicken tortilla soup, steak tacos and fajita salad. Chicken tortilla soup as everyone has mentioned before, yep, super good, grilled chicken, cheese, avocado and a tasty broth. Steak tacos are a bit on the smaller side but the quality of the meat is really good. Same with the salad, really good steak and fresh vegetables. Tried them with a Groupon, will definitely be back.

Must try their salsas. This is my new go to spot for Crispy tacos. Try the southwest chicken tacos. They are great! The chicken is flavorful, the vegetables are always fresh and their salsas are delicious. Their prices are so reasonable. The tacos cost about three dollars a piece. They are so worth it!

Great food, great prices. I was referred to this restaurant by Groupon & have been coming ever since. We usually get street tacos or steak/chicken burritos. The drinks are great (hibiscus ice tea) and the staff is friendly. It's a great option for my picky toddler when we eat out so I don't have to resort to greasy fast food.

We stopped here during their first week of operation (after 3 failed opening dates which they would continue to announce on Facebook, but not actually open). It appears one of the owners took our order at the counter (He acted in a way that appeared to be more ownership, than just an employee). They do not have hard-shell tacos, which is unfortunate (to me at least). We ordered an appetizer of some southwest egg-rolls with guacamole. When they arrived, the container of guacamole was tiny, as in smaller than the cap on top of a NyQuil bottle. The egg-roll was too big to dip in the given guacamole (essentially nothing). Not a good start. Sadly, things did not improve as our main course arrived, it was clear the man taking my order failed to get my order correct, so an item had to be sent back for correction. It also took quite a while for the food to come out. That's not always a problem, if the food is being cooked/prepared fresh to your order. unfortunately, the food tasted as if it had been sitting in a pan the whole day. My carne asada burrito was just bland, and very forgettable. In the end, our bill was nearly $40 for two burritos, sodas, and egg-rolls with a teaspoon of guacamole.

First time here so I ordered the Serranos Burrito (it has their name in it so it should be really good). It was ok, not as much meat as I was expecting for 7.50. It was mostly beans, a little rice and some meat (I got carnitas). It comes with a side of beans and rice, which seemed a little redundant, since there was so much in burrito. The salsa bar was nice, had lots of different salsas, sour cream and lime. Will try again, but it will probably be a while.

I purchased a Groupon because I was in the neighborhood. When I first went in I noticed that the bathrooms were really dirty but I figure it was probably the rush-hour. They were out of fajitas and ceviche so I ordered the enchilada plate and posole. The beans and posole smelled spoiled so i asked for a refund on the posole and the waitress gave me an attitude saying i was the only one complaining and refused to give me a refund. She said she was the owner and that this was her business and that she would refund me just to get me out of there. As if she was doing me favor. I also am a business owner and if I owned a restaurant I would not want to be known as the place with sour beans and soup.
