Review Cafe Erica - Hellertown

Was nearby for work, needed to eat lunch and was tired of fast food. This place was a hidden gem! Great Italian food, soups, sandwiches, pizza, even pierogis! Excellent coffee, which I usually don't drink. The staff was very friendly & helpful, especially when I said I'd never been there before. The whole place was very clean & neat, including the restrooms. I'll definitely stop here again when I'm in the area!

The food was good however, the staff was rude. I had also applied for a job there, and they threw out my application after I left. I have short hair , and I'm a girl and I see that as discrimination. I wasn't impressed with the staff. When you go to a cafe, normally you want to feel relaxed. I was quite unrelaxed while eating there.

This place is so cozy and cute. Way better than starbucks, and much better pastries. Everything is fresh made. They also have a better selection of teas, teas i've never heard of before. The restruant part is also great, and not expensive. Great atmosphere and our waitress was super nice.

Usually Cafe Erica has the best pizza in town, but recently their quality has changed, or the person who makes the pizzas is no longer there...and it compromises the taste and look of the pizza. The last pizzas we got were floppy and extremely thin. They had more toppings than crust (which some people may like) but the crust was basically non-existent. We couldn't even pick up a slice without it falling into pieces. And a few weeks ago the crust was completely burned, and we should have taken back the pizzas for a refund. Also, the salads are not very good here. Caesar dressing should have garlic in it and not taste like ranch; and the croutons were just old hoagie rolls drenched in vegetable oil. My family will return I am sure, but I find that things really need to improve or they will lose customers.

A quaint hole in the wall type place that is attached to the Italian restaurant right next to it (I think it's their to-go pick up area). Friendly staff and well made coffee/espresso drinks. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.

Good coffee, good service/friendly staff, decent food. The cookies are huge. Muffins are big as well. Also,if you like green tea,try the frozen green tea latte

Terrible cappuccino. Way too much milk in it and overall tasted like burnt motor oil. The chai tea was way too sweet as well. Did not try the food so I can not comment on it.

Cute little coffee shop. They do sell a small selection of sandwiches but I haven't tried any of the food. The coffee however is very good.
