We went camping in strawberry for a few days, came down threw Heber and looked everywhere for authentic Mexican food. man I tell you what; we spotted this place in hopes of authenticity, and to my surprise this place was all I was looking for food was delicious the quality was on point the setting everything was perfect kudos to the owner. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves Mexican food as much as I do! Side note I got huevos con Churrizo and I ate it all (completely satisfied) *nopicture my girl got the burrito in the pic so sorry halfway ate and was all served beautifully

Amazing Mexican food restaurant in the middle of Heber City. Fast food with the quality of a sit down. There is something for everyone; I especially liked the help yourself salsa bar, a wide variety of choices on the menu with old fashioned favorites as well as unique tastes. Tacos El Guero is a great place for a quick bite or a sit down dinner.

Ordered food not knowing the wait time because from out of town. Didn’t have enough time to get our food before our next plans, they refunded us and were so understanding. My husband had a bite of a family members food, and said it was VERY good! Next time we will plan better so we can eat a full meal here.

Grandma and I stopped by for a bite after a big rain storm. Rain makes granny feel feisty and willing to try new things so we stopped by El Guero. Now, if it’s your first time, you have to order the molcajete. Literally the best Mexican dish in the valley (and grandma loves to point out just how many Mexican places there are). But we decided to go off script and order the super nachos and chilaquiles. Unreal, some of the best Mexican I’ve had. The seating is a little different and the place gets packed but that’s not a negative. It feels like my little Mexican home away from home. Stop by, order something crazy on a rainy day and make a night to remember.

I pride myself in being a breakfast burrito connoisseur, and oh boy let me tell you, Tacos El Guero #1 did not disappoint. Their breakfast burrito gets full marks. The tortilla was fluffy yet perfectly crispy, with delicious scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon. The serving size was also more than generous. Next time I’m in Heber City, I’ll certainly go back and will have to explore other menu options.

Food was good here and prices were reasonable. Got a variety of tacos and salsas based upon staff recommendations. As well as strawberry and regular churros. Place is pretty big inside with lots of choices on the menu. Would go back again.

I got the chicken & carne asada tacos, and my date got the carnitas tacos. I really enjoy the set up and they have a really great salsa bar and selection of sauces you can grab to put on your food. The menu seemed to have most everything that you really would want from a place like this, and they are open on Sunday! The tortillas on the street tacos are just slightly browned and I wish there was a bit more flavor on them, as well as the chicken. I still really enjoyed it, and they also had some amazing art work.

We absolutely love El Guero’s. The carne asada street tacos with cilantro and onion, are authentic and the rice and beans a family favorite. The corn tamale’s are delicious and we can’t forget the birria cheese tacos. One of my favorite things about El Guero is their salsa/sauce bar. Complete with a variety of spice for everyone’s palate. Wash it all down with a Mexican Coke and enjoy time with family. The new location is clean and spacious and perfect for gatherings. Word on the street is they will soon have fan gear in the form of tshirts and hoodies. We love El Guero and it’s a must stop when visiting Heber. Be sure to check out their other locations as well in Kamas and Salt Lake City.

Awesome Birria tacos and ramen. Then we also ordered the enchiladas suzas with green tomatillo sauce. I would suggest getting chicken. The chicken and creamy tomatillo sauce is great. Also very yummy paletas.

My daughter and I happened upon this place, it was right after it opened one day so it wasn't busy. But Holy cow, WOW, within 10min it started hoppin!!!! Every person from anywhere in the area was either ordering in or taking out, we had hit the jackpot!! The BEST Birria tacos we've ever had anywhere! The food was all delicious, can't wait to go back! 😍
