Very unique restaurant. I felt like I walked back in time when I entered. My children and I enjoyed our lunch very much. My son loved the cherry vanilla coke and the old time feel. Our waiter was very helpful and nice. The children enjoyed a mini cone after their meal.

Old time soda shop atmosphere. I ordered a French Dip sandwich with Mustard Potato Salad. Everything had good flavor. My hubby enjoyed a Chicken Salad sandwich with Twice Baked Potato Salad. He had an icy Purple Cow to drink, while I enjoyed my Coke. The salad bar was not available today.
Entry is through the office supply store.

The salad bar was excellent. My husband had the Reuben sandwich and loaded baked potato salad, he said it was all delicious. The service was great, friendly. Everything's bright and clean, including the restrooms. We also had fun browsing through the antique store that's connected to it.

This is one of my favorite little places for lunch in Downtown Hays! They have a good salad bar, daily specials, and both light and more substantial sandwiches depending on what you're hungry for. For drinks, I would definitely recommend a cherry limeade. Thanks to the staff for the great service and experiences!

My granddaughter has wanted me to try this place for years. I had the BEST chocolate & marshmallow shake I've ever had! Old fashioned soda fountain, delicious homemade food. If your in or around Hays, you should make a point to stop in.
It's also connected to an antique store that has some unique items.

This place is cozy! The staff is great. Try their Cherry Limeade,it is still done the old fashioned way and it is really tasty! Great conversation and the place is clean! Also, for the antique enthusiast, there is a nice antique shop that you walk through to get to the counter. There is a gentleman working in the antique shop that is fairly knowledgable and friendly.

Delicious drinks, good sandwiches, and our waiter/cashier was very friendly, responsive, and generous. Great place for kids, too! Gave a mini ice cream cone for free.

The sodas are very good! All they really offer are sandwiches and salads (and if you don't get their before 2:00pm don't plan on buying a salad, they'll close the bar down early). Pretty generic food but the atmosphere is nice and cozy.
