Taco Grande

I was satisfied, my dining partner not so much. If you know what you’re in for, it’s fine. On par with location in Scott City. So what is it: NOT Taco Bell. The meat is seasoned and mixed with something, not sure what, but it works. Cheese is good, tortillas do what they’re supposed to, everything was as expected. I got a funny taco (hard shell wrapped in a soft shell, held together with nacho cheese) and a combo burrito (meat, beans, cheese). I also sampled her chips and guacamole, which were disappointing (guac had no taste, chips came in a vacuum sealed plastic bag, did not taste fresh). So don’t get that. We were there around 2:30 on a weekday and it wasn’t empty but certainly wasn’t crowded. Counter guy pleasant enough. Bathroom was clean. I’ll return if passing through at the right time again but wouldn’t go out of my way.

What to talk about...The food? Terribly bland and soulless. The staff? Equally so. It's so evident that no one wants to work there and it shows in the lack of care with orders, lack of care with customers, and the general soul-crushing vibe that only 'overworked and underpaid college students' has. Does that say more about the country, the company, the people, or you and I that that is an identifiable and quantifiable atmosphere that we all understand just by saying it? My 1/5 is because the sign is coming loose over the parking lot and the food quality more than the soulcrushing.

One of the drinks was half empty when it arrived, and my double burrito was half the size that they normally are. The nachos didn't come with a lid and they packed the whole thing sideways. Needless to say it was an unnecessary mess. Not sure if they thought we weren't going to tip but we gave over 15%...Will never get the delivery service again.

I ordered 3 funny tacos(old school) 2 with no lettuce/tomato. I got 2 wrapped in black checked wrappers and one in red. So I thought it was pretty obvious which one had tomatoes and lettuce. Wrong! The jerks couldn't take the time to ensure that 2 with no veggies was IN THE SAME WRAPPING. my son got ill after eating some of the one with veggies. I didn't order 2 no lett/Tom for no reason. But to wrap them in DIFFERENT PAPER?!? COME ON!!!2

went in to pick up an order and walked in there and saw 4-5 high schoolers making all the food. one of them set a bag on fire, another on his phone, and the rest of them just talking not doing much while me and a few others were waiting for our orders. i noticed my order was done for 5 mins before it was even handed to me. took it out to my car and they had messed the order up. awesome. when you’re working with food in front of people you need to actually work because all i saw was terrible customer service.
