Panda Chinese Food

I don't usually complain about food, but this was not a good experience. Delivery time was nearly an hour and a half, the egg rolls were overcooked and tasted oddly of cinnamon, and the lo mein smelled and tasted so awful I had to throw it out. The only things pleasant were the very kind delivery person and the Mongolian beef, which was middling at best.

A fellow traveler handed us Panda King’s takeout menu and my family decided this was the perfect alternative to trying to find a place to eat (as our budget hotel doesn’t have a restaurant). Judging by the lack of Chinese characters on their menu, and how happy they were to hear from us, I guess they don’t have a lot of Chinese customers. We called them to deliver to our room and a nice lady came by in less than 30 minutes with our order. We ordered three things and they were all delicious. Won ton soup had carrots and shrimp, but no noodles. Fried rice had beef, shrimp, chicken, and pork. Same for the chow mein, lots of meat and veggies. Portions are generous. My advice for those who complain about bad service: be nice, especially if it is over the phone. Knowing what you want to order, and not being full of complaints, helps too. And definitely learn some Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese.

This freshly prepare Chinese Food, it is the absolute "BEST" dishes I've had in a long time. The Beef & Broccoli was amazing. The broccoli was steamed to perfection and the seasoned beef was tender, moist and 😋 delicious. OMG and the Shrimp Fried Rice had so many succulent juicy shrimp. I had a shrimp with almost every bite. Yummy! The portions are generously served and moderately priced.

This is honestly one of the worst Chinese food restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. It’s very unfortunate they were very nice and on time but the food was horrible. We ordered wonton soup, which tasted like bland toilet water. The orange chicken was a congealed sugary mess. The chicken was soggy and tough. The rice was over cooked mush. And the worst part was the beef and broccoli. It tasted like bitting into a brick of salt. So bad I spit the food out.

Beware! This is a very DISHONEST RESTAURANT! Saw their menu at the LaQuinta Inn. Called them and tried to order three items. They will immediately ask for your credit card number. I asked twice for my total. They say $38.xx. I asked them how. They added $1.00 to each item ordered. I told them the prices listed on their menu and they say “that’s an old menu”. But, I saw them drop off the menus at the hotel the night I checked in. I told them to cancel my order for not being honest. Be careful. Ask for a total first before paying for your order over the phone!!!

I just ordered the Mongolian beef and it was $9.95. I was expecting to see rice covered with well done Chinese flavored beef with some onions. Besides being disappointed with the dieter rice portion on the side, the beef was too salty and the texture was gummy. Me and my one year old daughter is disappointed. Can't feed her what I wouldn't eat, so I guess I'm forced to cook anyway. Count my $15 as a donation toward hiring a new cook at this location. 👎🏽👎🏽
