Coming from Texas and really didn't like any Mexican food here but, this is our last day in LA and just stopped in for a bite on our way to the airport. Wish we would have found this place sooner. Good customer service. Had the flautas and they were good. Salsa and chips were good too. Glad the Mi California restaurant was closed or we would have missed this one. 👍👍

Can't start this review without talking about then chips and salsa. The chips are decent and slightly on the thick side without much salt. The salsa on the other hand is quite good, and is just the right amount of chunky and spicy. As for the entree, I would say the food is above average. The asada is a little dry and I would recommend getting the enchilada over the taco if you had to go one way. Service was great and they checked on is frequently.

This is the 4th time I've eaten here. What the restaurant lacks in size, it makes for in its food. I've had 4 different dishes & each one was great. I had enough for my dinner the next day as there was so much food. They do close at 7 p.m. so go early.

I had the taco salad and it was great! Full to the top with toppings and the enchilada sauce was a must have! The establishment looks traditional and I love that so much. Will keep coming.

Flavorless Chile Verde pork. Run down establishment. Torn seats, wobbly furniture, no ac. Place is a dump. Super disappointed.

We tried the enchiladas & flautas neither were good the sauce on the enchiladas taste like canned sauce. The flautas were with corn tortillas and in my opinion are better with flour tortillas.

Locally some of the best wet burritos. Great size and price. Carne asada and shredded beef are great. Pork chile verde is also good but on the spicy/hot side. They have good horchata and jamaica aguas too. Not from a machine.

I rarely eat out especially Mexican food because I am Latino. We can cook it all at home. Someone recommended Rauls and I was compelled to try it. They start you with chips and salsa which is served as hot chips and a tasty, delicately spicy salsa. The menu is extensive with traditional plates soups and appetizers. I ordered the Carne tampequeña which comes with refried beans Spanish rice an enchilada and a piece of Carne asada topped with peppers and onions. The refried beans and Spanish rice lean American style. The enchilada had a home made taste. The sauce was bold with a cool flavor of heat but not spicy. The chicken was excellent. The Carne asada was well above any I imagined it to be. Come in and try this lovely restaurant
