Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine

This place was recommended by a friend and it definitely lived up to the hype. My favorite items were the Truffle Fries and the Salmon Bowl. Both were fresh and didn't take long to prepare. The red sangria was also tasty and potent. Our waiter gave great recommendations and on the menu which was pretty large. We ended up meeting the owner and chatting for a while before leaving. He was pretty cool, and down to earth. We'll definitely be back.

Brazilian spot with pizza/pasta options. Came here for a late dinner after climbing at Hangar 18, and were starving. Got seated immediately with no reservations on a Tuesday evening around 8:30pm. There were big groups celebrating birthdays. Indoor dining available and there’s also a small marketplace where you can buy Brazilian goodies. We got the Churrasco for Two, which came with all the classic Brazilian staples - 2 pao de queijo, a mound of French fries and fried yucca, steak, sausage, chicken, and rice & black beans on the side. We both had more than enough for leftovers the next day. We also got a banana xango for dessert, which was too much for two people - better suited for 3-4. It was very sweet, and is like a fried cheesecake with vanilla ice cream on top. Service was friendly and the overall vibe was sit down casual.

AMAZING atmosphere. It’s a little oasis with quality ingredients & delicious food usually found on the West Side. Their other 3 locations r in West L.A, West Hollywood & Hollywood. It’s a vibe. & everyone is so friendly, from the welcoming manager, to the professional waiter. To the Brazilian owner that is present, making sure everything is high standard. & is incredibly welcoming & friendly. I chose Alexandra’s Steak Salad. It was HUGE & DELICIOUS. So was the side of sautéed vegetables seasoned & cooked to perfection. Their deserts look AMAZING! I had the Tiramisu WOW! it melted in my mouth. & their menu has a lot of delicious options from Pasta, Burgers, Pizzas, Salads to Seafood, Super Bowls. It’s nice, refreshing & relaxing to have a place like this in Hawthorne. The prices r very affordable for the sizes & the quality of food. I am in love with this place. Will come back here at least once a week to get EVERYTHING on the menu. Starting with the HUGE salads priced from 11$- 21$. They also have a full bar, with colorful cocktails & a HAPPY HOUR - Mon -Fri from 3PM-6PM. They r open until Midnight on Most days!!! & offer a HUGE outside dining area in the back so you can properly social distance or get some air.

Cute little outdoor seating with heated lamp, definitely sets the ambiance. The pasta was delicious, and I’ve craved it ever since. The serving size was generous and well worth it. 3 sides came with the fish dinner, and a healthy amount of each. The staff were also very nice. Definitely check this place out!

First time here & Loved it! Early dinner, the place was almost empty and I can't figure out why...? They hit ALL the marks for me: clean, great service, Good drinks, delicious food and "Who" doesn't love HAPPY HOUR? I had the chicken pasta, linguine with sun-dried tomato wine cream sauce (Super YUM) and 2 margaritas! Was happy & full when I left with a doggy bag!

Cool spot for a quick lunch meet up with friends or whatever. I ordered the Power Grain (no meat) plantains and creamy mushroom. I have to admit, it was a lot of oil in the creamy mushroom sauce. It was good, but I will definitely try something different the next time I return. Good service, no lines to get a table, only waited for 10mins or so. It wasn’t too crowded on a Thursday night. Social distance was implemented, outside seating was available, but it was too cold to sit outside. We opted for inside seating. Try their Capirinha Vermouth drink - super delicious and one of their signature drinks.
