I'm from NYC and this place matches my expectations of what good Chinese food suppose to be. Everything we've ordered tasted great. Love the lo mein, fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and shrimp and broccoli. I look forward to trying out other things on the menu!

My wife has been wanting Wonton soup for a while and it seemed like whenever we had money and got to the restaurant at a reasonable hour they were closed. So after a few times trying to get the soup from the Chinese restaurant in Narrowsburg we ended up working later than we expected to and thankfully they were open. The Wonton soup was fantastic the only problem we had was the only money we had was on a debit card and the restaurant doesn't accept any debit or credit cards. Luckily there was a ATM in the place. So if you're planning on trying China kitchen please remember to bring cash. As always enjoy!!!!

Great food! They never disappoint and if there is ever an issue, they always make it right. We have tried other places but always come back to China house. There is a reason that they are always busy.

A few years ago, I would've given this place a 2 star review at best. But ever since it came under new ownership it has completely turned around!
The food we received during our visit was exceptional. Their rice is fully cooked, and you can actually taste everything in it! General Tso's was not all stuck together and chewy, it was perfectly glazed with a slight crunch to it. Perfect.
Inside looks clean, as did the kitchen. Staff was very friendly as well.
I will most certainly be coming back. Although I think they set the expectation bar pretty high with this visit!

After reading so many reviews I decided to try this place on my way back from Lake Wallenpaupak today. The place itself looks horrible -- old and decrepit. If I was just walking by I would never go in.
Eggdrop soup was a solid 5 stars, fried dumplings and sesame chicken were 4 stars and pork fried rice a definite 5 stars. Not the best Chinese food I've ever eaten but it's excellent for northeast PA. Bring lots of cash because they don't take plastic and their prices aren't cheap.

This is the place to go to satisfy that "I don't want to cook, let's do takeaway" craving. There are a couple of tables, but really it is meant as a takeaway. Food is good and hot, and is ready quick. Got a cold? Get a quart of Wonton soup. It will fix you right up.

This place has the best food in the area. I am super picky about Chinese food but I give this place 5 starts for taste. The prices are a little high though in my opinion, and they only accept cash. Which is a pain, but they have an ATM in the store. Other than that we order pretty much once a week when I get that itch for chinese food.
