Just had an incredible meal at this charming mom and pop Mexican restaurant! The homemade touch to every dish made it feel like a home-cooked feast. Good Mexican food. Does not have the one thing that makes me question the food at most Mexican restaurants on the Island and that is Tabasco. Actually has Mexican hot sauce which a good sign.

I'm not sure where everyone else ate that's rated this place one star, but I was there today and the food was incredible. My coworker and I stopped by for lunch while in town. We were met with a very friendly attitude and atmosphere. There were no flies as stated in other reviews. The food was very good and they served very large portions. Both of us couldn't finish our meals and had to take a box home. There aren't a lot of options on island for really good Mexican food, but I will gladly come back the next time I'm in Kohala.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Husband had chili verde burrito; I had beef taco and cheese enchilada. Cash only so be prepared.

Loved the food.. inside atmosphere is not awesome, but it's clean and I came for great grub. Had the Combo #27, Carnitas Enchilada and Soft Taco, with Chili Rellenos. All super yummy. Very affordable for Hawaii. If the street is crowded, lots of parking around back.

Super excited we found this place. We are from Utah and finding good Mexican food can be hard out here in the islands. Definitely will be coming back. Food was super good. The salsa for the chips was super spicy tho. And you can only use cash here no cards.

This is the best Mexican food in the place. You MUST come! Hehe.
Amazing flavors, great prices and wonderful service, their hot sauce is a piece of Mexican Heaven! They can pack to take or you can eat at the place!
I need to come back to this place. My wife loved it and she says she loves me even more now hahaha.
