Had a great anniversary dinner here. Awesome crab cake and fried shrimp combo. The shrimp were excellent and looked to be hand breaded. The restaurant is classy and has a nice atmosphere. First time here. Will definitely return.

I understand why there are so many 5 star ratings... They have a hidden gem in the kitchen!! Everything we tasted was fabulous!! From the little items like stewed tomatoes and coleslaw to the main entrees like scallops with crab. There were a couple of items that were just "good"... Fried oysters needed some salt and the breading was a little too thick (IMO), but cooked perfectly also the tossed salad was a little simple but fresh. When you walk in the building the furnishings are starting to look a little tired, but definitely worth a stop if you are in the area

Great seafood and a variety of other options. Staff was prompt and courteous. Very fulfilling meal. Place decorated with many ducks. Nice stop off on a road trip.

We have dined here many many times over the last 5 years and have become pretty familiar with the menu. One of my favorites is an APPETIZER of bacon-wrapped scallops, usually around $11-12. I was shocked to see that they are now $15.95!!!!! And a SINGLE crab cake is $29.95????

This was the worst seafood sampler I’ve ever had in my life. Bland and gross. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the cream of crab soup was good and the staff was nice. We were there for an early dinner but still, I think I know why the only other people in there we’re elderly - because they can’t taste as well!

Place was slow yet took several minutes for waiter to greet us. He was busy talking with a group of servers. The waiter was friendly and nice but not trained well. He didn't know what a loaded baked potato was and brought my salad out with my dinner a ameture mistake. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. Very greasey and small not worth the $20 for 4 .Broiled scallops were very good cooked perfect. Most disturbing was the black mold all over the ceiling tiles in mens bathroom. Just no excuse for that . That's why 3 stars.

Worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Food was bland, tasteless, and expensive. The chef has no idea what he or she is doing. No flavor in anything except the crab cakes which were probably made by someone outside the kitchen. Outdated menu and decor. This place desperately needs a visit from Robert Irvine or Gordon Ramsey.

Visiting for the weekend from out of town and chose the visit tje Bayou as we were looking for some seafood and a comfy place. Husband and I each had a ceab imperial dish that was topped with a mustard creamy sauce - it was a surprise at first bite, but really very good. We had a great meal for reasonable price, if we come back to area we'd go again!
