Manhattan Bagel

Staff was very rude to the pregnant customer before me and she walked outside after she ordered. I ordered food and when it was done as I was about to pay I simply asked the woman behind the counter (who was coughing) about their masking protocol since no one cooking or wrapping up food was wearing a mask. She got very rude and defensive and said we are all vaccinated lol like people don’t lie about their vaccination status all the time. She was belligerent and very sarcastic and started talking about customers in the store not wearing them. I said they are not preparing food the way you are. A simple We are all vaccinated would of been good but she was completely out of line. Left the cold on the counter and walked out - just like the customer before me

A young man assisting the cook wiped his nose with his hand and I asked him to wash his hands and he denied touching his nose. I work in the medical field and it was just an observation that I couldn't unsee. He was very rude and went to sink and quickly ran water on his hand. He was visibly upset with me but I don't feel I asked for much. I didn't ask his name but this happened on 2.22.22 around 11:15am. So sad.

I have been coming to this location for four years...the new owners seem to consistently run out of bagels . I was just at this location...its 12:17 pm and NO BAGELS and they weren't making more either. They lactually aughed when I asked if they were going to make more. How do you run a business that is supposed to serve breakfast and lunch and at the height of the day have NO BAGELS to make breakfast or lunch. I guess I will have to start to search for a different location or a new bagel place
