Review Pace's Steakhouse - Hauppauge

Excellent place with great food and wonderful service. Pleasant and intimate atmosphere that feels very comfortable and dimly lit. Unless you park in a neighboring parking lot and walk, it is valet parking only. The marinated strip steak, duck and halibut special were all phenomenal! Have been here many times and can't complain about any of the food. Will keep returning!

Decided to finally give this place a try! Very happy with our meal! Had a business meeting here today and we ordered a bunch of dishes recommended by our waiters as well as other dishes we saw on the menu! Everything was delicious and satisfying! Drinks were great as well! For those who prefer their steak a little more cooked just let them know! I ordered medium and it’s definitely on the rare side which I don’t mind but others might! Teriyaki Porter was delicious, Ribeye for 2 good! Pierogis were incredible, peanut butter brownie sundae is fabulous! Definitely on my new go to steakhouses in Suffolk! Staff was exceptional as well! Constantly made sure we were taken care of!

Not much in the area aside from visiting father in law and mom but we decided to take them out for their birthdays to pace! First time here and literally one of the first before it got really busy and quick. We didn’t have reservations and it was a Sunday so we waited a bit but accommodating were made for our family with 3 kids we sat by the bar and a fire place, even though we weren’t in the actual dining rooms we still enjoyed the view and the service very much. The food was very delicious and very flavorful, and the drinks were delightful. There is complementary valet service for your vehicle once you arrive.

Lunch is a good time to visit if you are able. The servers were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque (very tasty with generous chunks of lobster) and the Lobster Tempura, which was delicious. The ribeye was cooked right and flavourful. Pace's offers valet parking when they are busy.

Seated promptly (made reservation which is strongly recommended); attentive servers; excellent food from apps to desserts. Steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. Sides are a la carte. This is a $$$$ but so worth it. Special shoutout to busboy Arron who went above and beyond to make our evening special - very personable and attentive.

This restaurant absolutely amazing, from the food, to the service, Such a cool place to get an awesome meal. I had Oysters on the Half Shell and Porterhouse Steak that the best of the best. And chocolate lava cake was good also. I had a great service from Joe. He kind and suggested the excellent menu. I can’t wait to come back.

Steak houses! Hard not to love them. Not an every day or every other month occurrence, more of a “treat!” They are always an event and generally a pricey one too…so the market demands, and Pace’s delivers a wonderful dining experience! Fabulous and attentive service, mouth watering steaks and sides and a lot of hot coffee to end the meal. Love it!

My wife and I went for our Anniversary. We didn’t have any steak because I’m very weary of steak from any restaurant, it’s usually a disappointment because they’re over priced, I can get better cuts at my butcher and cook to my liking. However, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and the next time we do go, I’m going to give one of their steaks a try! Waitstaff was amazing, mac and cheese was amazing, however the menu is pricey.

Steak house on long island is always going to be higher prices. If you're going to pay those prices you want the food to be good and at Pace's it certainly is. Everything was tasty, bar staff was nice. If you don't mind the prices, you'll enjoy the dinner.

Cozy top notch spot for steak! Gotta start with the shrimp cognac and baked clams- the porter house for two is perfect for 2/3 people. The creamed corn, sautéed spinach and mashed are the move for sides. Super friendly attentive staff right down to the bussers.

Took my fiancée out to dinner here last night (Sunday). And we loved it!! The service was top notch!! Seriously, everyone was on point and friendly and well spoken!! I loved the atmosphere!! The dim lighting plus the interior decoration was a warm yet romantic feeling to it. And last but not least, the food was delicious!! Not over cooked and according to my fiancée, they put the right amount of seasoning on it!!

The food was amazing. The steak was a perfect medium rare and it was so juicy. The salad was also amazing and i loved that salad dressing. Everyone should come here. The only bad thing was that I didn't gett enough food. AMAZING.

First time at this restaurant and more than pleased with the service, ambiance, food and experience. Our waiter was tentative but let us enjoy our time which we liked. The scallops were cooked to perfection and tasted great, as was the bacon too. The filet mignon was amazing; great flavor and texture- cooked just right. The sides were tasty as well as the wine. Will definitely make our way back in often.

Wow! After not being able to enjoy our usual date nights in a while I must say this was a treat! We both ordered french onion soup, which was amazing. An our entrees were great as well. We went over board with the sides however they were all delicious and we would do it again! Over all everything was amazing. I booked a reservation, we were seated almost immediately, and then everything started flowing from there. It was truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

This place was absolutely amazing, from the food, to the service, down to the decor. Such a cool place to get an awesome meal. I had the pork chop, it was the absolute best pork chop of my life, look at the pic, it was HUGE. Got the Lobsta-Mac and it was on point; crisp top edges with cheesy goodness below. Also had the Wedge Salad with blue cheese - ridiculously good. Zero disappointment here. We were taken care of by Gerardo, Skylar, and Patrick. Gerardo (the bread making superstar) brought us out what I have to say is the best bread I have ever had, he ended up bringing another loaf. They partially slice the bread for you and then sneak a buttery-garlic mystery slather inside that is incredible. I know it's just bread, but wow! First time visiting Paces. Not the last. Service 5 stars. Food 4.5stars. Best onion soup I have ever tasted. Must try if visiting. Steak very good. Stuffed clams were perfect. I have to add that even the assortment of breads were amazing. You won't be disappointed

I heard they were known for their single Porterhouse orders<br/>which was very good. There service was very attentive while the atmosphere was<br/>very pleasant. Horrible food and service. What a waste of time and money. My steak was undercooked and my daughters steak was like leather.<br/>The waiter Ron was a total phony and told me my undercooked (medium well steak) was the way it was at Paces.<br/>How does this place get such good reviews for its food?<br/>I could deal with bad food but when you add a horrible and rude waiter.<br/>If you gave me a meal for free at Paces, I would never go back

In town on business and my colleagues recommended Pace's. I had the Porterhouse Steak for one. It was great! Marinated to perfection; no need for sauce. If you love steaks and are in the area; you need to make this spot one of your stops.

Outstanding!!! Went there with my bachelor party and the food was phenomenal. The service and atmosphere were top notch. (Thanks Patrick) great food. Will definitely be going back.

Where to start? Perfection! My husband ordered the lobster clam bake, which had a lot of food, but everything in it was fantastic! The lobster, chicken, and ribs were out of this world! I ordered a filet mignon and it was incredible as well. We bough a bottle of Cabernet (local long island vineyard) and both feel it was one of the top meals we've ever had!

One of the best around and priced accordingly. There has been an influx of these trendy steak and sushi places recently. While these places deliver on decor, they do not deliver on steak quality for the price. Pace's is a traditional high end steak house with top notch service. Their marinated porterhouse for one is amazing. My wife and her mother are both vegetarian's and they even love their pasta primavera. The sides and deserts never disappoint as well. Go! Go! Go!

Great steakhouse. I've been dining here for years and the food has been consistently AWESOME. the bar area can get crowded and loud on weekends but the atmosphere is great. was just there last weekend and the porterhouse for two was exquisite as always. their cheesecake is good new york style cheesecake too - if you don't like fruity crap drizzled over your perfect cheesecake, be sure to ask for no fruit on the plate. french onion soup, baked clams, and clams casino are always delicious. if you're super hungry, go with the porterhouse. the ny shell and filet mignon are both good choices if you're not starving. and if you can't decide on the marinated or plain steak for your first visit, get it plain and ask for marinade on the side - it's not the same, but you can see if you like the flavor of the marinade.<br/><br/>i'm getting a little bummed by the amount of jeans and tee-shirts i've been seeing recently because at the price, i feel like people should dress properly.

Great steak, few flaws. Started off with baked clams, which tasted fresh, but were a little too salty. For my entree I had the marinated NY steak, it was cooked to perfection, great flavor and nice size. I had garlic mashed potatoes as my side, but barely tasted any garlic, the side definitely needed improvement. Nice atmosphere. There was thin tall waiter with a Russian accent, I thought his service was awful, he's inconsistent with his customers, I would've loved to know all the specials, but he failed to list them, and only overheard them when he listed them for the next party. He was also generally impolite, and rude in his demeanor. Fortunately, the busboy more than made up for it with his pleasant attitude. As far as price goes, it's extremely expensive.

Great food, but loaded with Goumbas. 3 gold chain minimum to get in here.

Good steaks but expensive. Figure on about $85.00 per person with a glass of wine and a salad. Only valet parking!

Great steak house!. Great food, good people cant ask for more.
