I had spicy breast and leg with red beans and rice with 2 biscuits with ice tea. They give military discount with I D. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Food was hot and delicious. Great meal.
Always fast and friendly! And, of course, so, so yummy! This is our go-to Popeyes and have always received great service... even when they’re short handed (which has only been 1 time in the 10 years we’ve lived here), they’ve always been kind and efficient. Great customer service at this location.

I love coming to this Popeyes location… never have to wait very long… sometimes no wait at all! The employees are always very nice! The food is delicious and I intend on eating here often :)
This time around, we ordered Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen through DoorDash. This time, it was actually good, aside from the feeling of being dehydrated, which I'm thinking is a norm for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
We ordered a 20 PC Mixed with 4 sides and 10 biscuits. The mixed chicken was pretty good and hot, even though the travel time was about 25 minutes. The biscuits taste just like the ones from Louisiana. The fries were a bit cold and dry — the coldness isn't Popeyes fault, but the dryness, possibly. The mashed potatoes had a lot of gravy, which isn't preferred here, but if you prefer it, you should get it. The coleslaw was pretty good at first, until you're at the bottom of the cup and there's a bunch of liquid. Last but not least, the macaroni and cheese. It didn't look that appetizing — there was a lot of cheese, and it seemed like it was left on the pan for quite some time.
Overall, I would probably order from this location again, just because I haven't had much luck elsewhere. It would be seldom, though.
I'm going to go ahead and give it four stars because the food has been consistent, but on this particular visit they made a terrible mistake. I asked for a regular chicken sandwich with no pickles. What I got was a spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles. Some people this might not be a big deal but for me, and my sensitive little palate (I'm trying to be nice to myself because you usually I just say "because I'm a wimp".) Bear season fries are delicious, I love the bread that chicken sandwich came on. And I think they have delicious mac and cheese. I will make a side note about the mac and cheese that they refer to it as homestyle and that means it has shredded cheddar on top and throughout. For this reason my daughter will not eat it even though it is her favorite tasting macaroni and cheese.
I have been to many Popeyes restaurants in Texas and Louisiana, and the ones in Louisiana are top-notch. That being said, this is the best Popeyes outside of my Cajun home state. The fries are always crisp on the outside, and tender on the inside. The fried shrimp, which are my favorite, are always fresh, and never crusty. This is the most consistently good Popeyes I've seen outside of the Gator state.
