White Castle

The employees were not very friendly, but not rude either. I received my order quickly and I can say overall the burgers and fries were good. I stopped there before hitting a long drive and I am glad I did. I’ll try different items on the menu next time; it was my first time at White Castle. I liked my experience and will order again

I can remember going to this location since I was a young kid before it was rebuilt into todays building. I enjoyed the old design that had glass windows by the grills and you could watch the burgers being cooked right in front of you. They have great sliders with steamed onions or "murder burgers" as some people call them. I love their onion rings and the french fries are ok. The mozzarella sticks also make for a good side. They have a modern self service Coke machine that has tons of options for your drink choice.

Honestly I'm not sure what is going on in this location. We went in at 2pm on a Tuesday....not a busy time but there were 4 people impatiently waiting ahead of us. Just workmen stopping in for a quick bite, not big orders but those poor guys waited and waited for their food (drive thru was moving better but the guys said their van can't fit thru) other 2 were elderly. We weren't in a hurry so we stayed & ordered anyway. Food took a long time but it was good. My complaint is that everything is kept behind the counter now (I'm sure it was done 2 years ago for covid but still?) So you need to ask for salt, napkins and sauces & when you do, the woman gives you exactly 1 of anything you ask for. Now there was 4 of us & we had burgers, fish nibbles, mozz sticks & fries so we needed tom sauce, tartar sauce, lemon, ketchup & salt. She acted like I was trying to get stuff for free instead of the condiments that go with an order! She handed me 2 napkins & 2 ketchups for 4 people! Gave me honey mustard sauce instead of tartar then gave me attitude when I had to go back up to get the right sauce. If you don't want to hand out sauces then put them out so people can get them for themselves. If it's covid related then WHY is the communal soda machine being used? I watched someone reuse their cup getting a second soda, HOW is that OK but the napkin holder & ketchup has to be behind the counter? Oh well, it will be blamed on Covid or the supply chain or shortage of workers or the war in the Ukraine...getting tired of businesses scapegoating.

First time having White Castle.. My coworker put me on and God bless my waistline because I am hooked! My late night cravings just got a bit more dangerous..🥴 Ask for the jalapeño cheddar on any burger and honey mustard dipping sauce for the onion rings or fries. You can also dip the burger in the honey mustard sauce....THANK ME LATERRRR!!
