This is a terrific local pub with a surprisingly diverse menu. The food is well-prepared, of high quality, and often delicious. The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. It is no surprise that it attracts a large group of regulars who enjoy being there and typically enhance the experience. I've returned many times and I'm never disappointed

My steak tips were over cooked but we waited so long to order that I didn't want to send them back. You could tell that they were clearly understaffed. The poor waitstaff were running ragged.

A great place to go for basic nosh - for lunch and/or dinner. The post-sumner dinner specials make it worth the trip...

400 East Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and plenty of indoor seating, as well as a bar. We shared a salad, and my husband enjoyed a cod sandwich while I had the French dip. The roast beef was lean and tender, and the au jus was delicious. The portions were generous.

Ended up having a meal here 4 times during our one week visit to Harwich this Spring! The seafood was phenomenal! Especially loved the salmon burger, crab cakes and salad with fresh scallops!

To this day hands down the prime spot for absolutely delicious food. Great friendly service. Monica . I had the Calamari and omgoodness. ...words can't express the taste of lightly battered and fried to perfection. The California Bu4ger was bomb and the Cobb salad is a monster. I will be back when I come back to the Cape. ...and quite possibly just for the food. 🥰
