Review Wahmei Chinese Restaurant - Harrodsburg

One of the worst Asian food dishes I ever tasted. I got the bourbon chicken and it tastes like it died from severe dehydration because it fell into a salt mine. It’s just meat and some rice, no vegetables. No egg roll. My fortune wasn’t even inside of the fortune cookie, it was just floating around inside the wrapper. Got some crab rangoons also… I mean fancy shaped pieces of fried bread!! They came with a vinegar flavored red sauce 🫣 It spilled in the bag because the lid wasn’t on. Aaaand… the bag ripped as soon as I sat it down in the car 😓

General Tso's and egg rolls were pretty good. Fried rice is good. The takeout service was great. Price was right.

Save your money. Food was dried out.. scabs on all the soups. They wouldn't refill or make anything for buffet. They only wanted to fulfill to go orders. Terrible service

Very Good! Went in the middle of the afternoon, so trays weren’t overly full, but still very tasty.

Excellent Authentic Chinese food. Nice buffet too. <2022 update>> Buffer now open since covd is now NOT a thing. Great as ever!

Very disappointing. Had their roast pork egg rolls and they were not crispy/crunchy and they certainly did not have pork in them...just a few pink pieces of what they most likely think is pork. Awful. Also I asked for a small cup of ice and the guy acted like I asked to marry him. As if! They may be better at other dishes and entree's but dang...if your EGG ROLLS AIN'T GOOD...doesn't bode well for the rest of the menu. Good for me.

My family avoided Wah Mei's buffet before the pandemic. We got very sick and possibly food poisoning after eating dinner at the buffet a few years ago. I give it a 3 star though because the food is good most of the time depending on what you order. Takeout is hot and fresh, would recommend avoiding the buffet after it has opened back up, takeout is pretty good and I would recommend it.

Great food. Great price. Memorable flavor.
