Review Johnny's Victory Diner - Harrisville

Update Summer 23 Friday night: We finally stopped at Johnny's on a Friday night for BBQ. It's Everything they say it is. The pulled pork has such a delicious smoky taste!! Nice entertainment too. Today's breakfast was our first experience with Johnny's Victory diner and we will come back regularly. The atmosphere in this 90 year tradition is that of an old time diner. Amy and the other staffers are just like old friends -- SO WELCOMING!. Food is great and very creative. We enjoyed it so much that Amy took us on a tour (see the photos) where we learned about Friday nights on the deck with live local entertainment. We got to meet John, the owner and we saw his massive smoker. This place is known for it's smoker- pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends etc. We are planning to come back for BBQ on Friday night soon

Genuine bbq with a great outdoor sitting area to listen to live music. Food was cooked well and had good flavor. The wait staff was very attentive. Very satisfied with our experience. We will be back!

1st timer & definitely hope to be back! Would recommend this place for sure! Made to order fresh food, I tried the Bronco Bowl and absolutely loved it 😋 staff smiles and friendly environment. Try it if you’re in the area.

Best surprise of our trip! We stopped here to check Rhode Island off our 50 states checklist and it did not disappoint!! Staff was extremely friendly, outdoor seating is spacious and has privacy from the road, and the food was everything you want for breakfast! We had the Bronco Breakfast, Whole Belgian Waffle, Monte Cristo, and Corn Muffin. Coffee was strong and endless! Wish we lived closer, but it is on our list of must find a way to get back to! Thank you!!!

Phenomenal classic diner with phenomenal food, phenomenal staff, phenomenal atmosphere and best of all, phenomenal food! We will make Johnnys Victory Diner one of our top favorites and go to breakfast diners

First time customers. Charming little retro diner w long list of breakfast choices & specials. The omelette w pastrami & Swiss was delish. Plate of homemade hash, eggs, sausage w toast was generous & did not disappoint. Service was friendly and efficient without being rushed. Look forward to trying BBQ some Friday night.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. Let's start with the people. The owner, Rhonda, made it a point to introduce herded to me. What a great woman. Then Johnny came out. Super nice guy also. All the help were friendly and outgoing. I ordered pulled pork Mac n cheese quesadilla and a miss piggy burger. The pulled pork quesadilla was outstanding. Great flavor and great cornbread with it. The burger was also outstanding. Cooked medium but still juicy and flavorful. Grassy fresh cut fries also. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.2.

Had breakfast there, sat outside. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. I had the bronco bowl. They were delicious, had lots of flavors without the salt overload. We chose the table all the way in the corner at the end. Had Ozzie with us. He was just chillin' under the bench. Will go back for their bbq

This is the holy grail, of diners! From the second you walk in it has a comfortable environment. The staff was more than efficient, friendly. As far as menu, there's alot on it. Something for everyone. But that burger says it all. The fries are great, not the frozen fry, fresh and cooked to perfection. Price, 2 of the 1 pound burgers as seen in the picture, 2 sodas, and a order of onion rings, for under 30$...... I want to build a house next door!

Had a wonderful dinner here (on BBQ night no less)! Not only was the staff kind and professional, passing conversation and making sure we felt welcome, but you could feel the love of a classic hometown diner in every gesture and the food itself. I highly recommend the Brisket Sandwich (some of the best brisket I have had in a long time). As an aside, I have never had coffee milk before: thank you Johnny's for letting me experience this RI delicacy!
