Review The Taco Shop - Harrisville

Food was pricey. $21 for two sodas and 1 burrito. The flavor of the burrito was good but not the authentic flavor of Mexican cuisine. This is a very American take on Mexican food.

Update- memorial weekend 23: Angela and the crew prepare the best, and most interesting variations on Mexican!!! Love this place! UPDATE:. Just took my grandkids to the Taco shop. The counter staff is so careful to talk with parents about the relative spiciness of the food. My grandkids loved it! This place is always good! Thanks! My first time experience was fantastic! The food is so fresh and the flavors are wonderful! The Taco Shop has a nice wide variety of quesadillas, burritos and tacos. The staff are extremely friendly and you will find the owner, Angela, to be right there in the kitchen making sure your food is at the peak of perfection! I really enjoyed my lunch and I will now be a regular customer!

My girlfriend and I ordered from there today. She got the chicken BLT quesadilla and I got both the pork belly and fish tacos. I haven't finished the meal yet, but felt compelled to leave 5 stars! Absolutely delicious! The bacon on the quesadilla is outstanding! It's cooked enough to where it's not burnt, but has that ideal bacon taste. As far the the pork belly taco is concerned, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to properly convey how delicious it is! And the fish tacos aren't fried which make you want to eat a ton of them because there is no guilt and they're delicious! Highly recommend and plan on making this establishment part of my take out/dine in repertoire! Thank you!

We live locally but only visit when there is a fundraiser. I tell myself I will try something different each time I go, but I never do. Mahi Mahi salad is my go-to. My husband tries new items each time and has never been disappointed.

I love this place and the food is amazing and reasonably priced. Its a real gem tucked away like it is and i dont mind driving a bit to get there since it's always a great experience. I also like that they don't allow non-service animals inside. It's a HUGE deal to some people and I'm glad they enforce it since it would be a mitigating factor as to whether I return or not. More businesses should put their put down like this. A great hidden away place with super-fabulous food at incredible prices.

This was an excellent experience. After near 800 reviews, this will be one of the less than 10 going on my favorites file. The spicy pork chili was outstanding. When this place tells you spicy they mean it. The pork belly Tacos were also over the top great. And I felt that the shredded chicken burrito lived up to the hype of best in the state. The seed server was very friendly, helpful, and patient. This place is well worth seeking out.

Was in the area for the annual green festival and was looking for something to have for lunch. We stopped into The Taco Shop for lunch. Ended up ordering the pocket of hell, chips and guac, and a chicken burrito. Your never know what your gonna find in some of the smaller out of the way areas in rhode island. But this spot was on point. Support small business

Great Mexican cuisine, I ordered the Dynamite Burrito, it was fantastic, . I'm new to the area, but definitely will be a regular at this shop. Loved it.

Yum yum yum! One dollar taco Tuesdays? Yes yes yes! Seriously, this place is a bit off the beaten path unless you live in Burrillville but it’s well worth the drive! The tacos are above average but generally standard fare, they just ein you over with their dirt heap pricing! On the flip side of this are the (still reasonably priced) burritos, that are creative, filling and stuffed full of flavor! I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken burrito, they used a cooler name, but it was so delicious I forgot it’s name! This place would be great for family dinner, friends nights out and most general occasions that you aren’t feeling or don’t need table service. The drinks are cooler drinks so no free refills but really no big deal to be honest. Come try this place out, especially if you like tacos!

Let me start by saying the pork belly is so so so good. I ordered the pork belly burrito which was ok, but the real winner here is the pork belly taco, especially with the pickled red onions on top.
