Emilio's Mexican American Restaurant

I came here with a few young kids and their parents. We were greeted and seated right away. The service the whole time was great, especially considering how our kids were pretty rowdy. Our kids enjoyed their quesadillas and chips. The salsa was super thin and watery for my taste. I ordered the chimichanga. It was very plain and the chicken inside was pretty dry. That said, the food is reasonably priced and filling.

Amazing small-town place with GREAT service, a REALLY good selection, and some great food! Very few people here when my wife and I came in. She had the Mexican pizza, steak. It was quite a bit bigger than she thought it would be (took the rest home lol). I had the Enchiladas Rancherous. Both were AMAZING! if you walk away without being full, it's ONLY because you didn't finish. The portions are really good sized, and very well worth the time to turn into the parking lot! Also, you should probably try the fried ice cream! Was a nice treat!

My mom, grandma, 2-year old son, dog, and myself were stranded in Harrisonville for an afternoon (on our way from KC to Bull Shoals) while our car was being worked on across the street. They welcomed us with open arms, brought water for the dog, a fan for us to cool off, and were just so kind and generous. And the food was delicious!

First time eating there. I had the combo with enchilada, tamale with rice & beans. Hubs had combo with enchilada, taco & bean tostada. Everything was hot. Tamale was a little dry & could use a little more meat. Service was amazing. Try their flan. It was sooooo good. No alcohol yet but working on it. Great chunky salsa too.
