Can't begin to tell how excited I was to have finally found a place fairly close to home that serves authentic Nigerian foods! Being that my wife is originally from Nigeria it's great to have real ethnic food available! The folks that own the restaurant are very friendly and kind also! Happy Customers for sure!

They was very friendly and very helpful. The food was so delicious I wanted to cry happy tears it was exactly what I wanted. I had the egusi soup with beef and fufu I also ordered goat pepper soup with a side of fufu. Another plate I ordered was white fish with rice and beans topped with sauce and collard greens on the side and that was the best collard greens I’ve ever had. I had a small corn bread it tasted so fresh soft yet sweet and rich very good. Definitely a great place if your looking for great African food.

Great place for Nigerian delicacies. Fufu, jollof rice, fish, etc. Loved the ogbono soup with fufu and egusi soup. Located inside the restaurant building. There are multiple restaurants in this building and they close early so check the time and day before heading out. May be a little pricey but good and tasty food comes at a cost!

Whenever we visit Broad Street Market during lunchtime, we somehow end up with food from Tasty Dishes every single time, and we go home very happy. This African (I believe Nigerian) place offers quality Vegetable, Meat, and Fish dishes.
Our favorites are Okra Soup, Oxtail Soup, Fish in Stew, Collard Greens, and Sweet Plantains.
Don't forget to have them add a bit of their special hot sauce!

Very sweet owner! Drove 45 minutes to try out and wasn’t disappointed. I got fufu with okra stew including beef and my boyfriend got fufu with egussi stew. We both loved it and had great service

Don't be intimidated by the names on the menu. This is good, well-prepared comfort food. I had the stewed beef over rice with collards, and everything was excellent. The collards were legit--not the tasteless boiled greens that others serve, but flavorful and tender. The beef was also very tender, and the tomato sauce it was served in was perfectly seasoned. And they're very accommodating--they have a wonderful (but HOT) spicy sauce they can serve on the side, but if you don't like spicy food, everything is prepared to be very mild. Try this place next time you're in the market!
