This place is always packed. My favorite are the beef, bean and cheese patos. They need more locations in the lower Valley.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner… this place is so good! Our kids escoecially like their tortillas de harina and refried frijoles con chorizo. Great breakfast tacos and the best carne guisada tacos!

Love it! I live about 20 miles away and make it a plan to go eat carne quisada there once a week. Best carne quisada BAR-NONE!!

Had the chicken gusada with rice, beans, and flour and corn tortillas. Great taste and excellent dinner. We ordered an extra small rice. That was plenty for both of us. The atmosphere was cheery too. Great restaurant to go to for excellent gusada! Trying you'll like it.

Pato is very good, always pretty good servings. The pato tacos are pretty pricey, guys, but they are good. The bake potato is OMG, no joke, yet Delish for the price wow amazing I will order it again. When my buds are craving it. As usual, I ordered my Pato taco Beef/cheese/Avocado. I love this one, and my husband orders the guisado plate. So yes, food is pretty decent, always fresh. The place is always clean, clean restroom and staff is always nice. I travel abt 30min to this place to come and have a good meal either breakfast, lunch or dinner. I recommend it and yet it's pretty packed on drive-thru. But it's ok. I dine in. May I mention breakfast here is always on the menu? Breakfast is not only for breakfast. You can have it any hour of the day, and I recommend it. Very delish plates and breakfast tacos chorizo and egg w cheese, potato egg, and cheese. My plate was the chicharon with egg, refried beans, side potatoes, and flour tortillas very good. But idk last three 3x's I've come they don't carry Pico de Gallo idk what's the deal. You all need to have it. All other Patos restaurants have it, and you all don't. Anyways, thank you for my meals, Harlingen Pato, staff, and cooks.

The guisada tacos are great Tex-Mex but the wait time is too long. I went inside to eat as the drive thru line was in the street but service was not any faster. When my order did arrive, it was incorrect but it was fixed soon after.

Not a thing.!! From delicious patos, breakfast and dinner plates, and of course the nachos, they have something for pretty much everyone. Tasty salsas and ice cold fountain drinks just add to the list of goodies. Great dine in and to go service plus a nice place should one decide to dine in.

i ❤️ pato since 1980's. edinburg and mcallen locations. today i visited harlingen location. we missed brownsville locations. I come every year to the valley from Dallas/Ftworth.

Good price, good food. I love the Carne guisada & enchiladas verdes [limited time on enchiladas]. Mon-Fri lunch specials $5.99. Great value! UPDATE: 07/18/2022 - Very busytoday, both inside & at drive-thru. Daily special today is Enchiladas for $5.99.

Always feel like I get a GREAT value at el Pato. Fresh pico, tomatillo and red salsas. Their chicken is shredded so you can tell it’s actual chicken. Styrofoam cups hold up to the Texas heat. Recommend the chicken w avocado or beef w cheese tacos. Very affordable breakfast also. Highly recommend for ballers on a budget. ¡DaLe gas¡
