Review Los Asados - Harlingen

Hadn't been here in ages. Food hadn't exactly been top notch. But today was actually a fantastic visit. Good was fantastic service was great. Hat off to Tony our server. We will definitely be back. The quality had definitely improved. Prices are still up there but there is definitely more value in today's visit. We started with the chips and salsa and added an order of queso flameado. Very very good. Wife had the fajita combo plate and I had the chimichanga plate . Fajitas as were cooked perfectly. Great flavor and very tender. The chimichanga was excellent. It was like a giant enchilada made with flour filled with fajita. Definitely order again. We went with family and they ordered botanas and enchiladas. All that looked great as well and they had no complaints. Definitely be back. 3-27-2023 visit stopped in for dinner. No complaints

Great chicken fried steak but not actually called that here. Mondays are 1.99 margaritas and wow....they dont skimp on the alcohol.

I ordered the nacho/carne guisada plate. When i received my plate, I had enchiladas but no nachos. I kindly told the waitress, and they bought me the side order of nachos. Delicious! Plates are well served. Had plenty for leftovers.

Mexican plate was great. Enchiladas to perfection!!! Yummmmm

Delicious food especially the meats and reasonable priced. Plates might exceed your capacity to eat them so take it easy or come hungry. The plates for two persons are definitely enough to feed three or you may need doggy bags. Reasonable time for service and friendly staff.

Good old los asados. Fajitas are always great. I've always come for the fajitas here and I've never ordered anything other than but from what I can see, the other dishes look great. Service has always been warm and welcoming.

Amazing food and amazing prices! Sonia was our waitress and she was absolutely phenomenal! Had a delicious margarita for $1.99!! Will definitely be going back!

This is our go-to restaurant as a family when we eat in Harlingen. The food is always delicious, and our waitresses or waiters are attentive to us and our needs. We usually get a sombrero or a parrilla. When we order these dishes, we are always prepared to get a lot for our dollar.

Food was good gave us a good portion and the service was good.

The food was delicious! The jumbo shrimp 🍤 and fish fillet were crisp on the outside, and thoroughly cooked on the inside. The tartar sauce was made from scratch! The Pina Colada tasted amazing, but whether or not it had any liquor, remains a question?
