Divino Pizzeria And Grille

I ordered a large pizza ("first half" pepperoni and "second half" cheese), crab pretzel, and 2 liter for my family at 12:02pm. The anticipated wait time was 60 - 65 minutes, which I understood. The food arrived at 1:16pm. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait. The crab pretzel, as you can see on the picture, is UNDERcooked. The pretzel dough was completely raw/gooey on the inside. The entire pizza had pepperoni on it (not the biggest deal in the world but worth mentioning). The pizza dough was extremely thin with a over abundance of cheese. The bottom of the pizza was soggy (from sitting in grease I presume). That being said, when I called to explain the situation to them, the young woman on the phone immediately offered to remake and redeliver the crab pretzel as a way to rectify the problem. However, the replacement pretzel was delivered the same way!!!! I called the store back and asked for a manager but there was not a manager on shift today. The girl I spoke with was extremely apologetic, explained that their regular cook was out unexpectedly and the employee that stepped up to help wasn't too familiar with the making the crab pretzels. She issued a refund and explain how long it might take to show up on my account. I gave a three star review ONLY because of how professional and respectful this girl was. I understand everybody has their bad days so I don't think this experience would completely deter me away from Divino's but it might be a while before I try again.

So disappointing… I’ve been a loyal fan of Divino’s since they opened, but over the last couple years as they’ve grown, the whole place has gone down hill. Quality, attention to detail, getting the order right? Apparently no longer an option. At a 50% chance of getting my order right (no cheese? Why not extra cheese?! Add onion? What’s that?!) and having quality food (hello mini wings and sloppily built subs and soggy onion rings). Not to mention the heat melted STYROFOAM on the wings. At the prices they charge? I’m not willing to take the chance anymore.

Best pizza and cheesesteaks I have had in the Hanover area. The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza is excellent, better than I've had in NYC, on the jersey shore, or Philadelphia. The stuffed pizza is also delicious. All counter service with table placards so they can bring the food to you. I highly recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza.

The staff is very nice and I'm sure some things are good, but I've been disappointed every time I've ordered delivery. The chicken was hard and barely seasoned. Anyone can throw cheese on a head of lettuce and call it a salad. They always forget the bread. I loved Alex's that used to be here, their subs and pizza was wonderful. The three or more times I've given Davinos a shot it's failed.

Called and left my phone number for a return call to order a large order for the following weekend. No return call in 2 days. I left a message on their FB page and instantly got a PM. Long story short, they were fantastic at correcting the mistake, did all they could to make it right, delivered on time and everything was fantastic. All my guest were happy and even said they'd be using them as well , should they need catering.

So I’m frustrated because my total should have been 21.08. I left money for my kids to get food and I left $25 including a tip. When the delivery guy got here they told them that the delivery was $25 and some change. When I called they said their prices went up. You should not be charging people more because they’re paying with cash. If I would’ve paid with a card my total would’ve been 21.08. I realize this is only a couple dollars but I only left 25 for my kids because the total was only 21. 08. The delivery guy was very nice and understanding but my son had an extra five on him that he gave him for tip. As a business if you upped your prices the first thing you need to do is make sure you change them online! The person I spoke with didn’t seem to know what she was even talking about because she said the prices went up two weeks ago. I just ordered from them four days ago and The prices did not go up. If your prices went up two weeks ago and you still haven’t change them online something is fishy because I don’t know if somebody was pocketing the money or what. That’s horrible customer service you should be Charging what is says online, that’s false advertisement. There cheesesteaks are amazing though and I will give them that. Good is really good there.
