Probably some of the best pizza I have had at a restaurant. The pizza is Detroit style with the most delicious crust and scrumptious toppings. The salads are delicious too. The staff is friendly too. I will definitely return there on my next visit to the area.

Great square deep dish pizza. Tons of flavor, fresh ingredients! Diamond in the rough. Arguably the best pizza I have ever had. Very unique too, outside the box. Try the Mr. White and the PETA zza, mouth watering!!

With a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, this shop has a special place in my heart. Consistently the best pizza I've ever had.
They always have unusual and experimental add-ons that work well and are proud of their locally based produce, check em out.

The hours are a bit odd, but it's a great place to stop in and grab some dinner. The food is beyond amazing. With their pizzas taking my top spot locally. I would recommend calling in your order and taking it else where as seating is quiet limited depending on when you want to eat.

I'm not an expert on Detroit-style pizza, but a friend who has lived elsewhere in Michigan recommended this place as having top-tier Detroit-style pizza and amazing ice cream. I came here with my mom, who was in town to visit. Since we wanted a pizza on a Friday, we ordered ahead to pick our pizza up at 6:45. It was ready promptly when we arrived and it was some of the best pizza I've had in the US. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, with old-fashioned wooden booths, a tin roof, and adorable signage. We couldn't resist trying a couple of the fancy sodas, too, which were delicious. To top it all off, we tried both ice cream flavors (blueberry and cardamom) and they were fantastic. I loved and would try both again, but the blueberry in particular was so flavorful I wished I could take some home. I will be coming back here regularly!

One of the best (pizza) pie shops in Michigan, tucked neatly in Downtown Hancock. Experimental, delicious weekly specials and steady classics will keep you coming back. Detroit style only, so get ready for fluffy, thick crust and beautiful, crunchy cheese lace. Dine in available for meet and eats, or to-go online for ventures elsewhere. Vegetarian accommodations are always honored upon request for specials that require (though many don't).

My absolute favorite spot in Hancock! Their food is inventive, delicious and helps support other local businesses. I love their approach to food that is seasonal, fresh, locally sourced, and creatively pushes the edge of what Detroit style pizza can be. The specialize in Detroit style pizza: square, thick focaccia like crust, crispy cheesy edges, and great toppings. Each week they add a new special and I’m always intrigued to see what kind of funky things they come up with. I haven’t had a bad one yet and they have had some genuinely surprising toppings like peaches on their pizzas! My go to is the Ginger Baker: a pizza with pepperoni, honey, and Calabrian chilis. A perfect sweet spicy combo!
Everything is always really fresh and delicious. Keep in mind though that cooking a Detroit style is like cooking a deep dish pizza, it takes a while. So be prepared for a decent wait time. I wish it could be a little faster but I understand that fresh, individually made pizzas like this take time. Just be prepared!
We also tried their chorizo fries which were very good. Super crispy despite lots of toppings. Lots of flavor. Can’t wait to go back to try whatever is new on the menu next time I stop in!

Excellent pizza!!! Nice clean restaurant. Girl working the counter was very friendly and a hard worker. Male cook in the back also did an excellent job. Pizza sauce is very fresh!!! Can not wait to go back! 🍕 pepperonis are wowzers!

The place:
Walking in, I didn’t know what to expect. Spousifer and I were desperate for some decadent salads, and the Google Machine told us this could be the place. Inside, it feels like a cross between a pub and a coffee shop. Lots of wood, comfy booth benches, and richly colored rugs.
The location:
2 hour free parking out on the street in front.
The food:
Spectacular. Everything I hoped for and more. I got the autumn salad which had this lovely vinaigrette. The roasted butternut squash was perfect. HUGE portion and so easy to eat every bite.
Spousifer got a chopped salad sans salami which was also delicious. The olives were great pops of acidity.
Our friend got a patty melt with onion jam. As a vegetarian, I only sampled some of the onion jam which was gorgeous.
The service:
I greatly appreciated the rundown of how things work at Milly’s. You go to the counter, grab a menu, and order at the counter. Food comes to the table. Our server was so kind and even grabbed some of our empty dishes mid-meal.
Next time:
I want to make sure I get dessert. The cookies looked delicious and I was so close to getting some.
