Perfect lunch spot for our day trip to Hana! I had the poke combo special and the fish was fresh yet mild—and packed with flavor too! Greeted with smiles by the kind staff as well. 10/10!
Amazing fresh and tasty fish. This was our end stop after the Road to Hana. We had the tuna tacos, which I would definitely recommend - the taco shell was amazing but I found the salsa a little salty but that’s probably just down to preference!
Really good fish meals. Definitely worth stopping by if you can make it before they close. Just make sure you don't order to similar meals like we did when we ordered the seared fish and the mixed plate.
Stopped here on our Hana road trip, and it was delicious! I got the coconut shrimp, and my husband got the fish & chips. Both were excellent. 👏

The food here was amazing! Truly a great small business area. The food came pretty fast and tasted amazing. It is totally worth coming here to finish out the road to Hana.
Da Fish Shack served me the best fish & chips meal I’ve ever had—and I’ve had a lot of fish & chips in my life! Also, excellent customer service. The gentleman taking customer orders was professional and kind. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit Maui. Thank you, Da Fish Shack!
Not a bad place to stop for Hana after we hunted two Thai places down to find them all closed. Fish and chips were very fresh and shrimp tacos were okay. Would recommend if you are starving and don’t mind a bit of fried food!
Yummy lunch! Cajun mahi burger with fries and fried white fish and fries. We rejected the picnic tables and bench. We ate in our car at the nearby beach.

They also have shave ice (only available later in the day?) and lemonade of varying flavors. Almost any of the food places in Hana won't open until 1030/11am so have a goo
Grilled “Ono” fish and burgers were amazing! So well cooked. Thankfully they were open during heavy rains. Nice seating area with shade. Sweet folks. Highly recommended food stop in Hana!!!
Excellent place in Hana. Got the Cajun fish sandwich and it was amazing. Fish and chips were good but the burger was better.
I had fish tacos. It was delicious but I wished the salsa was spicier. I was not that hungry so I shared it with my daughter which turned out to be good.
We went here specifically to get Poke and unfortunately they ran out by the time we came for lunch. I ended up getting the popcorn shrimp and my husband got the fish tacos. Both were fantastic! We also got a strawberry smoothie which was great but I would recommend to them that they need to get wide
