Aloha Ice Cream

We stopped here a few times during our trip to Hampton Beach. They get an A+ for variety. They have many different choices for ice cream flavors, as well as dips, shakes, coffees, etc. The wait was a bit lengthy, but in their defense, there was only 1 person behind the counter at a busy time during the afternoon. Looks like they could use more help, although maybe they aren't usually short staffed. Though another time, it appeared again that there was just 1 person on their own taking orders & making them on a different day. We went for the purpose of getting my young daughter a dipped cone once, as they did advertise them, and we were told that they weren't making them at the time, but not given a reason why. Because of this & the lack of help which made for longer wait times, I gave less stars. It also looked like the shop could use a good cleaning. Prices were fair, but not the cheapest around. There are steps also when entering, so this isn't wheelchair or stroller friendly! No public restrooms either, which does seem like a common theme for the boardwalk shops. **Update**: Aloha had more help working last time we stopped in. Great razzles, mini melts, smoothies too! New menu choices since we came last Summer. They definitely have tons of options, something for everyone! And like over 50+ flavors of soft serve ice cream. Prices here are good too. One of the cheapest around Hampton Beach!

Some of The customers are not wearing masks. The shop don’t even have a sign require to wear mask and even the employee don’t wear mask. Its covid-19 now, at least the employee should wear mask. I was looking at them yesterday put the ice cream in the cup and asking question to one another, you know that the spit is in your ice-cream cup. Yes, its truth that you are in a country of freedom but your freedom come with resposibility and consequences.

Couldn't get anything I wanted. They were either out of it or it was too confusing to make.? I admit I wanted something not really on the menu, but they had the ingredients. Hot fudge and peanut butter brownie sundae with bananas and coffee ice cream. Then somehow ended up with sugar free ice cream. :( Not impressed.
