Such a cute hometown spot. Bartender serving tables was soo friendly. About ten tables total, so if you don't want to wait come early. Food was good but order was wrong, didn't receive refills on drinks. With that said we will try again another time in the future.

Yummy food, fun atmosphere, very quick. You can be in and out if you beat the 5 pm rush. Took us 30 min as we arrived before most people came. We ordered the pot roast special and the fried chicken meal. Both had great flavor. I would love to have had the option of a salad with the entree. But you don't get that. Or a roll or sometime to dip in the sauce. It was a simple meal, needed something more to make it a longer experience. Still a simple relaxed, bar/dining place to hang out, have some drinks and watch a game or two.

Chris is thee most talented host/bartender/cook/waiter I’ve ever seen. Saw the place with 41 people in it , and he literally handled it almost all by himself . Was wild. 5 stars all round from effort alone.

First time at this restaurant was awesome! We went on a busy Saturday night and they were crowded, but the food came out made to order and was so tasty! Server was friendly and so were the other patrons! Can't wait to go again😊

Small, local bar/restaurant. Outside looks shabby; inside great atmosphere. Owner personable and down to earth. Food, I had shrimp and grits, was awesome. Beer selection was good. I'd go back again, but give yourself some time as it was crowded and we waited for a table.

We eat here often….one of the best place for locals to go Chris. Amber, and Ashley are awesome a Kind and welcoming. Food is fantastic. Highly recommend the Buffalo shrimp appetizer.

My first trip to Jebby's in Hampstead was very early in the wake of Hurricane Florence. I was up from Texas helping a team of retired electrical lineman who were working as assessors to the substantially damaged electrical distribution system. In short, power was out over much of NC. Jebby's was one of the few places open right after the hurricane passed over and we stopped in with two other teams for lunch. The place was busy with locals, but Chris and the limited available staff were going out of their way to take care of everyone there. Kudos for the extra effort during a stressful and bumpy stretch. I can't say enough good things about Jebby's. The food is delicious, fresh, hot and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. On my first visit, Chris mentioned a reuben with hand battered onion rings. Since that's one of my favorite hot sandwiches, I jumped on it. It was nothing short of fantastic. The next day we were within a few miles of Jebby's around lunchtime, so back we go. This round, I tried the oyster basket. I've eaten a lot of oysters at a lot of places and these were top of the mark, fried to perfection and served with a very excellent cocktail sauce and hot, crispy fries. It doesn't get any better. Next trip, I went with the ribeye, cooked medium rare in a cast iron skillet with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Ho-ly cow good. The steak was tender, flavorful and juicy. The asparagus was a perfect tender-crisp and I'm not sure what's the magic in those mashed potatoes, but I could have eaten them as a meal. Jebby's fresh ground burgers are something of a local legend. Although I didn't try one during my visits, several of our guys went back daily and raved about them. The prices are reasonable, the food is fantastic, the sweet tea is just right and the bar is well stocked. After you've been there a couple of times, they'll know you by name. Eat at Jebby's, even if you have to drive for awhile to get there. On a personal note, thanks to Chris and company for taking such good care of a bunch of Texas boys and thanks so much to the very kind anonymous soul who picked up our check during our first visit. You guys are all awesome. We'll be back, but hopefully not while chasing a hurricane.

Chris the bartender is amazing so polite so fun to be around makes you feel at home. The wings were so tasty. the steamed local oysters were so delicious and the beer was cold and refreshing. Also had 2 shots of screwball whiskey. Very tasty. Didn't paid alot of money for what we got. Please go here if you are ever in Hampstead nc. We will be back. We live right down the road from here.

Always a great meal. Small restaurant with a small but awesome staff but they do a great job. Kitchen staff puts out great meals. Always hot and tasty. Has a bar. TVs. Can be very loud. So know that it won't be a quiet meal. But definitely worth going. Highly recommend!

Nice little hole in the wall restaurant, accomodated our group of 11. Food was awesome, reasonable prices and we where in and out. The rueban could have used more thousand island dressing.
