Cate Street Seafood Station

The building is a converted train station, with great character. Sydney is an efficient server and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our food came out quickly. The pepper jack bites were perfect. The steak tips, fried okra, and garlic potatoes were tasty, and my oyster po’boy was wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but they sounded good. We would eat there again. The sushi looked beautifully prepared, and I would like to try it.

Nice spot in Downtown Hammond. Great ambience. Very friendly and courteous staff. The family was in the mood to try another place to eat. My son had been here before and so we hopped in. We had the crawfish pies for appetizers. No complaints here and they give you some dipping sauce to go with it. Wife and son ordered some sushi rolls and clear soup. I ordered the hamburger steak with string beans and fried garlic potatoes. The wife had sirloin tips with broccoli plus rice&gravy. We had a good time.

We have been to Cate Street twice recently and let me tell you, I could not have been more impressed. Parker was our server both times and the service was excellent. I had the Tuna Steak and my wife grabbed a few sushi rolls. Presentation and food quality were spot on both times! Well done Cate Street Crew! Highly recommend this spot!

Loved the atmosphere. I sat in the Bar because there was a 45 minute wait for a table. I sat at a side table and the Bartender came and waited on me right away. I ordered a cocktail and she made it taste really good. The menu is large and has a lot of interesting things I wanted to try, but I decided on Sushi, and that was an excellent choice. It was very fresh and more than I could eat, so I was able to take home a Doggy Bag. Excellent food and service. I will be back.

My wife and I brought 2 of our grandchidren here for lunch. We were celebrating their Birthday. The service was great however, I can't say the same about the food. My wife ordered the catfish plate and it was brought to her cold. We ordered a spinach dip for an appetizer and it was brought out cold. We sent it back and it was returned cool.We have eaten here before and it's always been great. Unfortunately it wasn't on this visit. We arrived early and was seated up against a table full of guest. I couldn't figure that out since there was lots of empty tables around.
