I got the hot chicken sliders and they are absolutely delicious. The seasoned fries that come with the combo are great too. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because both times I've ordered carry out they do not put their special spicy mayo sauce that they do include when you dine-in.

I really enjoyed everything I got here. I drove 40 minutes just to try out this spot and yes it was worth it! I am Trinidadian and the food was authentic as can be! I got 4 doubles with everything, 1 boneless and 1 with bone curry chicken roti, with buss up shut and 1 extra dal puri roti skin (which i did not need), 1 beef with rice and peas, 1 curry shrimp with white rice and a mango chow! It was all great tasting and I definitely would go back if I need a true taste of home! Good spot!

The food was okay but I can’t say it was anything special from my perspective. It is a highly rated restaurant though so perhaps this just has to do with my palate. “Doubles” are fried bread sandwiches containing chickpeas and spice and this was my favorite dish. “Aloo pie” is just fried dough filled with dry potatoes. I sensed no spices or peas or anything else. It was just dough filled with potato. Meh. “Shrimp curry” is basically a large piece of lentil bread filled with some curry and shrimp. It wasn’t bad. Heavy on carbs though. This place is very busy and you can see them literally making not just the dishes - but creating and baling the bread as well!

Never ceases to amaze me how street vendors can manage to serve hot food and store owners food are bearly warm. Disappointed. Drove an hour and half to buy doubles and roti, both were bearly warm. Inspite of them being made on the spot.

Came here for dinner in an attempt to support local business. Upon entering they seemed very disorganized taking phone orders however were very kind interacting with us. There wasn't much food left in trays and appeared to be sitting out for a while. We ordered the Thursday special Curry Shrimp $10 with buss up shot and 2 doubles with everything $4. Upon arriving home we realized they charged us $11.49 for the curry and gave us dhal puri instead of the buss up shot. The food was a bit oily. The curry potato tasted watered down and comprised most of the gravy in the dish mellowing the shrimp. The curry shrimp was ok. Even though we didn't order the dhal puri it was tasty. The doubles were extremely oily and lacked flavor. It left us both having aching/bloated stomachs. For the location and quality of food it was quite pricey. There is room for improvement but wouldn't come back here for Trinidadian/West Indian food.

Food is good, it can be a hit or miss. Previously in the past sometimes the food would have more bones than meat. Always verify your order before picking it up, sometimes the quantity of some items is incorrect. I’ve called 45 mins ahead and the food might not be ready. The staff moves and operate at a slower than normal rate.
