Camarosa

We had a chicken burger and a sirloin sandwich. They were both pretty good. I would suggest a version of this sandwich with blue cheese. It's quite similar to one that I make on special occasions and it's awesome. The fries were flawless and the aioli was the best I had in NZ so far. The ice cream is very good too and has a fair price.

The Margaret pizza and pasta were very yummy, and the coffee matched our preference. My daughter, who is picky about food, loves the pizza. The scrambled eggs were also good, just not surprising our taste buds so much. But one thing I would like to complain about is that the fried chicken on the kid's menu is too spicy to eat for kids. I still gave five stars because we love what we ordered very much.

Divine food, gracious service and a cosy quiet atmosphere. Camrose are a rare restaurant that has invested in sound proofing. This made the large room quiet and created a cosy intimate atmosphere in a light airy open plan room. We were a large group had a leisurely lunch with prompt service. We loved the variety of options for people with dietary restrictions. The coffee was perfect, tofu bowl and vension ribs were incredible, the crowd favourite was the chicken burger. I had a steak sandwich with next in your mouth steak and tasty cumin infused sourdough bread; it was brilliant. The desserts were also great. Highly recommend a visit this is a destination venue.

We dropped by for a very light snack as we were peckish and ordered the soup to the day which turned out to be pumpkin soup and an iced coffee. The soup was divine. It was creamy and deep flavored. The iced coffee was ok. A bit strong for my liking but was just right for my partner. Like all mid-fine dining experience I just wished the portion was bigger based on how much you pay for it. But if your in it for the experience it’s a good place to try out on special occasions.
