Firehouse Subs

Just another sub place not particularly a value for subs. It's just the firehouse theme with the supposed attention to donating to a first responder that attracts supposed patriots might be the attraction to go there. The place is just fine if you don't have an alternate favorite sub shop (which there are quite a few). The food is just fine (a lot of subs to choose from the menu) and counter customer service as well. Subs served warm is a plus, for sure, for some. And you get a pickle.

I visited on a Friday afternoon, the place wasn’t overly busy by any means but with two staff members they seemed pretty overwhelmed. It took about 15-20mins to get 2 subs which wasn’t ideal but again, I think they were understaffed. This was my first time at a Firehouse subs, I finally decided to try them as I had a free sub with my T-Mobile Tuesdays. I had a hook & ladder sub which was just a standard sub, nothing special. Comparing them to other sub spots, I’d say they definitely rank higher than Subway but sadly not as good as a Publix sub but that’s just me. I do however like that they give back to the community and it was nice to see their achievements on the walls. If I had one closer to me I’d likely visit them again.

Located along Hallandale Beach Blvd., this Firehouse Subs is spacious and has adequate table seating for customers who want to dine in. You can also place an order to go or pickup an online order. There is a variety of hot & cold subs, salads, sides, desserts, and cold beverages. The staff is friendly and the subs are prepared fresh and in a timely manner. My usual sub is the Hook & Ladder, but this time I wanted to try something different...I went with a medium Italian sub which consist of sliced Genoa salami, pepperoni, Virginia honey ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, Italian dressing and seasoning. I omitted the onions and made it a combo by adding chips and a drink. There was only a few people dining inside so I felt comfortable chilling at the restaurant for a while. About 5 minutes, a female employee brought my sub to me and I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into it. It was really, really good. The meats, cheese, and toppings tasted very well together. Will definitely order this sub again.

First time visiting this firehouse, very good impression with my overall experience. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very respectful and friendly. The menu is very easy to understand and there are many choices. I ordered the medium Italian sub to go and I was pleasantly surprised with my order. The bread was soft and the ingredients tasted fresh. The packing is great and I had a pickle on the side. I will definitely return in the near future to try more subs!!

I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST TIME COMING HERE AND IT WAS AWESOME I WAS BEING HELPED BY JOANN PARKER HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD I WAS DOING A CARRY OUT ORDER BUT ENDED UP EATING IN BECAUSE OF THE WARM WELCOME AND I MUST SAY IT IS BECAUSE OF HER THAT ILL RETURN SHE NEEDS A RAISE AND OR BONUS KEEP HER ABOARD

This is the best firehouse sub location that I've been to. Awesome service and awesome subs. I just had the Jerk Turkey sub and it was soo yummy. I went during a water warning from a pipe burst in Broward county and Tommy, Andre, and Melvin were so accommodating, helping me with a drink choice since the fountain drinks were out. These guys know service and they know subs.
