Thyme For Food

Called in today having been past few days ago. The extensive menu just terrific. Spoiled for choice but chose the turkey, stuffing and cranberry on brown teacake. Absolutely scrumptious, filled with delicious Turkey. Will def go back and try the breakfast. The staff very bright and cheerful, cakes to die for and the added touch was the delicious shortbread biscuit which came with the huge pot of tea for two.

Try the breakfast burrito. It's the best thing in Yorkshire apart from the road to Lancashire. Lovely hot food great staff. EDIT EDIT EDIT there's 3 other takeaways nearby that do breakfasts. And I tried them all...the clear winner (and it has been awarded thus too) is Thyme. I am 100 percent backing Thyme as the best in the area without a doubt.

I came across Thyme cafe when I walked my daughter to work a couple of weeks ago, so I called in for a bacon bap and a coffee. The cafe is situated on a corner on the main road from Elland to Huddersfield, so you can't miss it. I love great coffee and the the coffee is truly great - so much so that I had to have another one. The bap, though simple, which is just how I like it, was made from quality bread and plenty of lean bacon, cooked just right. I called in again yesterday and had the same again. There is some great food on the menu so I cannot wait to try out other options. All in all, lovely food and Nicki and Nicki are welcoming, friendly and enjoy a good laugh. Oh, and to cap it all, they play great background music! I thoroughly recommend you call in, if you haven't already.
