Raw oysters were twice the size of seafood restaurant in Winter Haven and nearly half the cost. Frogs legs large and tasty according to dining partner. Blackened catfish excellent. My other favorite is coconut shrimp and of course hush puppies and coleslaw very good. Lady owner was a d on one r table and was both personal and attentive to ensure we had a great dining experience. A bit of a drive but the food and alternative r out side ;screen d)) dining is worth it. On sunny warm days, especially weekends the launching and retrieval of airboats and fishing boats are fun entertainment. Have been there several tim s and never disappointed. Gene

My husband and I came here for dinner now our waitress Kay was absolutely amazing and very welcoming and very accommodating. The atmosphere is really cute very old Timey very mom and pop which is something that myself and my husband absolutely love or look for small town restaurants. The service is great atmosphere is great the alcohol that I got was delicious which I would recommend I got the water moccasin it was sweet and tangy. The appetizer Counch fritters are actually decent and well seasoned. The reason why I’m not giving this a five star is because our main course of catfish and crab cakes sandwich was very under seasoned and very bland. It was cooked correctly just missing a lot of the spices I’m normally looking for in those types of foods. But overall a great experience I would love to try it again soon:

Our server Lauren was great. We had the calamari appetizer which was perfectly cooked (they didn't have the gator tail we originally wanted) the coconut shrimp was very good, large shrimp perfectly cooked. ( I wanted the fried clams but they didn't have them)The dipping sauce for the shrimp was apparently marmalade and could use some attention. The fried shrimp was good and the buffalo wings were large and the blue cheese dressing was tasty. The fries appeared to have been reheated from lunch (dry and gross) we also had a side of fried oysters that were so overcooked as to be unedible. We sent them back and weren't charged. The coleslaw and hush puppies were delicious and so was the tarter sauce. The view of the lake was great! Overall a good experience and we would go back.

James T made this dinner very special for us. We're celebrating our 12th anniversary. I called and asked if I could make a reservation with a window showing the beautiful lake. The service was awesome. The food was fantastic. We had a great meal. I give this place 5 ⭐

Went to go check Lake Hatchineha out. Noticed the dockside eatery and went for it. Since Im new to Florida, I’ve been dying to have a taste of gator. They indeed served gator bites! My 2nd time and this definitely proved worth it. Its a little secluded but very intimite ambiance, very cozy.. overlooking Lake Hatchineha. I would return again for a deeper dive into the menu!!

Went here tonight and our server Lauryn was EXCELLENT!!! We have been here before and had a good experience as well. Tonight the food was coming out a little slow but our server was right on top of things. I stated to her that we drank alot of soda and to please keep it coming. Our drinks never got under half full. She kept us informed on the progress of our appetizers and our main meal. When we come back we will be asking for her again. Good job Lauryn and thanks for doing your job so well.

Doesn't look like much, but pretty darn good food. The fried pickles were good. The surf and turf was only $33, cooked well and tasted good too. My wife's fish tacos and tater tots looked good. Service was pleasant and relatively attentive. Would definitely eat here again.

The food was hot and delicious. I'm told the mozzarella sticks I ordered were good as well. Unfortunately, I only had 1 before my other 1/2 consumed them all, lol. Wings were perfectly cooked.

We were looking for a casual place to enjoy some seafood. We found it in the Port. They have a nice selection of seafood, steaks and other entrees. Our food and cocktails were very good. The only negative was my green beans. They were overcooked and mushy.

Beautiful lake views, fresh seafood, generous portions, reasonably priced, and friendly service summarize my experience at this restaurant. We ordered calamari appetizer, seafood combo and fresh catfish on a late afternoon Tuesday. Everything was served hot and tasty. The restaurant is rustic at best and could use an upgrade - especially bathrooms. However that did not take away from delicious food and good service.

Always a great experience. Known for their fried seafood and country Florida appeal. Don't come here looking for a fancy meal. Expect southern hospitality, smiling staff, and very sweet, sweet tea. The burgers are also very good and at least half a pound. Air boats are loaded and unloaded in to trailers on the ramp right beside the outdoor seating. No reason to sit inside when the porch is the best atmosphere. Residents frequent this place and some arrive from miles away on their airboats. Set your expectations accordingly and the Port will not disappoint.

Ok, this one you have to want to go to. About 7-8 miles down a dead end road. Nice fish camp feel. The menu includes fish, seafood and more standard fare. Sit outside and watch all the boats return before it gets to hot. The 1/2 # Angus cheeseburger was excellent.

I not only wanted to leave a review but also thank The Port and their staff for making my Dads 80th Birthday dinner so special for him and my mom. The staff were very gracious and sooo accommodating not to mention all of the staff were very social with us which was very welcoming. The Bday party was 28 people large which is large for any restaurant to handle. We had 2 amazing servers who managed our 3 tables with ease or at least it appeared that way. My boyfriend and I chose a separate table because of the volume of food he orders lol once we ordered I think the server understood we didnt want to crowd the other guests table space. We ordered cold peel and eat shrimp warm peel and eat shrimp, a dozen steamed clams , conch fritters, side salads, and then our mains fried crab cakes, the flounder meal and the scallop meal. The staff was so prepared they even pre peeled our shrimp for us which was very appreciated and less mess on our already full table. We occupied the back deck which had great views and a wonderful cool breeze for a good 2 or 3 hours. Never once felt rushed. I didnt see anyone in the party have issues with their orders . There was no confusion at all even with all the separate checks. It was a great first experience at the Port, I certainly didnt feel like it was my first time there. As for my Dad, everyone went above and beyond to make his 80th memorable. A special ty to the kitchen staff, hostess and servers yall did a great job!!

Wonderful food. Attentive service from Winona. Kind of a hole in the wall with a great view of the lake. I had grilled mahi and hubby had it blackened and we both thought it was excellent.
