First time ordering from here. This will be my go to place from now on. The chalalaka is perfectly sweet and spicy. The jollof is also perfect. I ordered Jamaican beef patties and was given pastelillos by mistake. I am glad they made that mistake. Otherwise I would have never know how good they are. Do yourself a favor and stop by here for lunch or dinner soon.

Ok, this is coming from a few years of experience with this place when he’s on point this is the BEST oxtail and jerk anything in Hagerstown. As of late like a year he’s gone completely down hill I’ve tried to keep supporting especially because of a black owned business plus the food is actually good. Today I placed a order via DD for Oxtails mind you this was about a 60$ order, he waited until the dasher got there, which took about 35 minutes to tell them he didn’t even have any Oxtail , he accepted the order as if he did. I was offered goat , which I really don’t have a taste for today so that was a major disappointment honestly can’t say if I’ll be back because it is not really anywhere to get good Oxtail up here and trust, these restaurants know that.

These people can cook! I have been fortunate to sample his menu at our church, and the experience was always delightful. When we needed his catering service for an event, the food was not only delicious, but varied from Hispanic, to African, to American—and nicely displayed. His table settings, for the price we were able to afford, was very attractive, and his team did it all (set up and take down), so we didn't have to do anything but enjoy it. I recommend them highly.
