This restaurant is AMAZING!!!!!The staff is friendly as well as the environmental setting makes you feel at home.The food is to die for. If you want great food and a to just laundry back and great convo with the staff and a smile after a long day get yourself over to the Real Deal where you get nothing but realness
Had a great visit with a friendly staff. Curry goat was very good and Rick let me sample his oxtails. Rick tales are great great pride in his restaurant. Portion size was very good and again food was very delicious. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Ordered the curry shrimp which came with a choice of two sides, (Mac and cheese and rice and peas). Everything was so good! I would definitely patronize this business again without hesitation!
I've found no better place in Hagerstown for delicious meals so flavorful that feel like they're homemade. The food is fantastic and the owners/staff are very friendly and welcoming. The portions are great and a good value. I can't recommend this restaurant enough! It really is "the real deal".

I was in Hagerstown for a friend's 25th Anniversary and decided to get some Jamaican food as the function was several hours away. I Google Jamaican restaurants and decided 9n The Real Deal Jamaican Restaurant. I had curry goat and it was so good and I bought another to take home for Sunday. Service was good, the place is clean and although quite at the time I visited I found the owner and daughter very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are Hagerstown, MD
Escovitch Fish, white rice with curry gray, and plantains. Delicious!!!!! The curry gravy is really good. Please let me know when you have Johnny cakes, fried bread fruit and boiled banana.
