I have ordered Chinese food from CHINA GOURMET for many years. For the most part I’ve been very 0leased with the quality, taste and reasonable price of the food. Today we ordered and I in particular wanted to try something different (it’s been years since I’ve had this selection) so I ordered MOO SHU VEGETABLES. Before when I ordered this item it was shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, mushrooms, peppers and onions in a semi-sweet brown sauce. I was to be accompanied by “PANCAKES” (which always before were small flat omelette like pancakes in which you would roll the veggies into an “egg roll” type thing. Anyway, the main course was nothing more than shredded cabbage. No other veggies at all. It was kind of stir fried in the most disgusting flavor I’ve ever experienced. The pancakes were four Mexican like flour tortillas! It was actually no edible. This is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed. Maybe just a bad day on their part, but my food went directly into the garbage!

If I could give negative stars I would in a heartbeat! I specifically ordered the #10 Bar-B-Q Spare Ribs (5) Sm $6.95, a #3 Shrimp Egg Roll $1.40, and #25 Special Combination Plate of Shrimp Lo Mein with Pork Fried Rice, and Egg Roll, for $7.99. I received the Spare Ribs and Shrimp Egg Roll, but I got the wrong meal - #25 Shrimp Chow Mein with White Rice & Crispy Noodles (No Egg Roll), priced at $5.75. I never got the difference back in money I paid for my order. I tried to call them, to let them know their error, and THEY HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and asked for the manager, and the guy who answered said (in very broken English), "We no give you anymore food, don't call here again," and again hung up on me! The people are thieving little wretches. Needless to say I won't be ordering from them ever again. If you're wise, you will avoid them at all costs!
