Gelato Bliss

This place is absolutely amazing. Delicious flavors of gelato, amazing cannoli, coffee smells delicious, although I haven't tried that yet. Can't wait to try that, the hot chocolate, and tiramisu. They have salads and sandwiches as well but the gelato is everything!!! An absolutely amazing, adorable place for a date.

The ladies who run this wonderful establishment are so lovely. The first time I tried the wonderful gelato I came back three more days in a row (oops). I’d like to think that this isn’t far off at all from what I experienced across seas in Italy and France, and I had a lot of gelato there. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. It’s worth what you pay for and they allow you to taste it before to see if you like it. What’s not to love?

Came here this morning and the gelato is amazing! Fair prices and a nice menu that is well designed and easy to read. They also have some Italian desserts, salads, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. The customer service was *excellent;* they went above and beyond by customizing a pastry for me. The inside sparkles and is meticulously clean. There are a few tables and chairs outside as well. This place is a gem and I'm glad I found it! ***Unable to "suggest edit" but Google hours are not correct. Hours as of July 2017: Sunday 1p-8p; Monday 12p-9p; Tuesday-Thursday 10a-9p; Friday 10a-10p; Saturday 12p-10p.

I’m Italian and in Gelato Bliss you can test the really Italian Gelato. The owner and the staff is very professional and helpful. You can drink one of the best cup of Italian coffee and you can test delicious Italian dessert, genuine sandwiches, salad soup and more depend the season. It’s the best place in Hagerstown.

I'd rate the gelato mediocre at best. Maybe compared to gelato only in Hagerstown, I'd rate it higher BUT my family seeks out gelato anywhere we travel. We've had it in NOVA, CA, Midwest and east coast so we are somewhat spoiled. With that said, we tried multiple flavors before selecting. The chocolate tastes like it was cooked too long? Some of the other flavors were overpowering rich or sweet. This is a very different experience than we've had with many other highly rated gelato places. Our first impression walking in was that we were walking into a soap factory. The overriding smell of soapy smelling cleaning chemicals was unexpected. They did not serve hot chocolate in early April saying it was a seasonal item. Although the place was not very busy, the staff rushed as though they were. Although attentive,we're very serious minded lacking smiles throughout the experience including with other customers. Seating was ample and the placed seemed decorated appropriately for a gelato place. I really wanted to rate this higher because we need more gelato places. I really hope they improve their sourcing and preparation methods, smile more and improve the initial smell.
