Leaf Vegan Eatery

We love Leaf!! That’s all I need to say but let me tell you about that buttery, crispy spinach and Buffalo cauliflower…can’t get enough of these. And then there’s the spicy sweet Dan Dan noodles with crispy mushrooms. It’s all good; you won’t go wrong with any choice. Our server was outstanding as he always is and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef/keeper of the amazing plants.

Got the ravioli, flatbread, cauliflower... and one other item I can’t remember the name of. It was okay at best- ravioli were dried out. And you only got 5 with no sauce. The flatbread was not moist... I wouldn’t go back. When I spoke to management about it, they only said they would speak to staff. Nothing was done for me. And I even left a tip! Oy. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm not a vegetarian by any means so I'm basing this review off of my initial thoughts and expectations coming into it as a lover of meat. The menu is small but unique. They have a wide variety of juice and shakes which I didn't try but seeing them from other people... They looked delicious. A lot of restaurants are doing the whole buffalo cauliflower thing and their dish is a typical run of the mill one. I also ordered a raw zucchini pad Thai dish which I think would have been really good to see straight vegan. For me, it left more to be desired. It filled me up but didn't leave me satisfied. The veggie burger is a good choice for someone who is looking for a hearty bite. I liked the restaurant... But as a meat eater I'd onoyngo back every once in a while!

Located in the heart of downtown headed to New Jersey, this menu offers a nice assortment of vegan food, many of which are gluten-free or a raced have a gluten-free option. They serve Sunday brunch. The dressing on the frisée salad nicely complements the green’s somewhat bitter flavor. The lime cheesecake is out of this world. The avocado toast had a beautiful presentation, but I did find it a little bland, as the avocado itself did not appear to have any additional seasoning added to it. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Overall great dining.

JUST WOW! Read the rave reviews so expectations were high. They were exceeded! First, Brittany is awesome, friendly, helpful, every recommendation she made was spot on! Spinach and Artichoke dip is insanely tasty, The BLT tastes better than an actual BLT, if you already like Brussels sprouts get them and if you don't get them! Mac and cheese is unbelievable! On to dessert, the waffle can be summed up this way, if there were anything on it I was deathly allergic to I would eat it anyway! Just serve it with an EpiPen 🤣 Details: public parking lot in back, unisex restroom, BYOB (as of this writing no uncorking fee). Don't hesitate, just go. My dinner companion is not vegan and she was blown away!

We really enjoyed our visit here! The crab cake patty tastes like crab cake and the baked Mac and cheese tastes like Mac and cheese! We are new to this lifestyle and were blown away with the array of food items on this menu. We also had the buffalo cauliflower which my husband loved. To end the meal, we tried the key lime cake and matcha tea ice cream.... delicious. Definitely coming back!

Yes, yes and yes. Everything was amazing! Since their burger is made with beets, it might have a deeper earthier taste than others might like, but I thought it was great. My daughter enjoyed the Mac and Cheeze and we shared the apple crisp which was a very good size for two adults. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
