The portion size for some of the meals is really small. Barely enough for 1 person. Their “12oz” meals are closer to 9ozs. They also say raita is included in some tiffins, but isn’t included in the delivery. The price also higher that other Indian delivery tiffins in NYC. Their food tastes decent.

I am a Vegan and it's really hard to find a tiffin service that provides vegan meals in Manhattan. I love to taste different foods and different vegan dishes and I must say Bombay Takeout is doing a great job, and the food that I ordered was just mind-blowing.

Great comfort food!
Lots of variety and got to try dishes from different parts of India, which I had never eaten before. The service provides a combination of "eating out" feel food, as well as "home cooked" food.

Very healthy and delicious food. It has a great mix of chaat and homestyle food. It is kid approved! My children relish the food, specially their palak paneer and paneer makhani. It is low on oil and they customize the spices.

Bombay Takeout's food is home made, not oily, healthy and tasty at the same time! It tastes just like what you're used to at home! And we can't recommend this service more highly enough after searching for something like this for a long time. We have now been ordering this for the past 2 months every week and intend doing so going forward! The packaging is also excellent, with everything coming perfectly sealed, labeled and stored. Thank you Bombay Takeout for making our lives here in New York that much easier with this delicious, home made food!

We have used Bombay Takeout for the past 5 years. We love everything about this service. They have lots of varieties and the taste is as good as homemade. Their delivery is prompt and the management is very receptive to constructive feedback. I recently had an issue with my dish and wrote to them about it. I heard back promptly with assurance that they will rectify the problem and as an added plus they refunded the amount for the dish. I really appreciate their service and will continue to be a loyal customer. One feed back I have is may be add some south indian dishes if possible.

Bombay Takeout is amazingI I'm a vegan and my wife and children are vegetarian. Every week Bombay Takeout offers a varied, delicious and healthy menu of home-cooked Indian cuisine that spans the entire country and includes options for the whole family. Unlike most Indian restaurant food, Bombay Takeout is not loaded with unnecessary and unhealthy oil and cream and the food is more authentic and home style than typical restaurant food. We order every week! I highly recommend Bombay Takeout@!
