My husband and I went to Old Town Stock House for burger night per a server recommendation at a previous visit. Every part of this place exudes excellence. The cozy, low-light ambience is perfect for a date night without seeming pretentious. The exposed brick, stacks of books, and dark hardwoods bring warmth while you hear the kitchen at work. The burger I had was absolutely phenomenal. The chuck/brisket blend was seasoned so beautifully it could have been served by itself and still been incredible. The house-made pimento cheese complimented the smoky, crisp bacon which was cut into chunks rather than strips, giving a great texture to the burger. Finally, the bun sealed the deal with its perfect char, bitter by itself but perfectly complimenting the burger. The burger meal came with a variety of condiments and choice of beer, soda, or tea. As I am not a fan of the domestic beers that were offered with the meal, I stuck to my Cahaba Blonde Ale, my favorite craft burger beer. Our meal tonight was delicious, and I am struggling to remember a better burger than the one I had tonight. Chef Crystal does a fantastic job, and you can tell every facet of Old Town Stock House is run with love and passion. We will be back soon.

We've really enjoyed working with OTSH on a weekly basis for nearly 2 years now to supply them with local mushrooms from our farm. We finally made the evening drive up for dinner and had a great time. Every dish was incredible, and the atmosphere was warm and genuine. Best gumbo ever. The duck quinoa entree is very likely the "A Love Supreme" of food. Crystal and the staff are extremely talented and have created a timeless spot that is far too unique to miss out on!

I've always had an enjoyable experience at Old Town Stock House. The ambiance is perfect and staff is extremely friendly and professional. The warm ricotta spread appetizer is a must try; it is garnished with changing, delicious (and sometimes fun!) ingredients. Crystal has done a wonderful job bringing such an asset to Guntersville.

We held an event there on 8/13. The staff created a special menu for us, and everything was perfect. The food, atmosphere, and level of service was A+. If you've never been there before, this is a must. Thanks to all that helped make our night special!!!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there on April-6. We enjoyed the crab fritters, rack of lamb, and an amazing chocolate dessert. Not to mention a great cocktail, wine, and service. Matt was impeccable on his service. Thank you for making our 18th wedding anniversary a wonderful one. We'll definitely be back!

Our first visit. Food and service were outstanding. We had a fillet and the grilled yellow fin tuna. Both entrees were delicious, perfectly cooked and beautiful . Excellent deserts and drinks. While there have been several restaurants in this building , they far exceed any of their predecessors . It is indeed a pleasure to find such an outstanding meal so close to home. We will be back!

Very exceptional dining experience. The Lobster Crab fondue was a delicious way to start. Everyone in our party of five had the 8oz Filet so I cannot speak to what the other entrees are like I can say the everyone's Filet was cooked as ordered, we had requests from medium rare to we'll done. Melt in your mouth DELISIOUS! It's served with potatoes, mushrooms and a nice flavored sauce. This was mine and my wife's first time in Guntersville and this was the first place we went. For a comfortable feel and upscale dining experience it would be hard to draw me away to another spot. Enjoy!

Top notch dining experience! The super cool 1901 bldg and well thought out decorations and adornments, the casual but professional wait service and of course the delicious food were well worth coming back for! We met the head chef/owner Crystal in Huntsville a few days before, and she urged us to come try out her restaurant in Guntersville. We were already going to be visiting my relatives in nearby Arab, AL so we took her up on her offer. And man, it did not disappoint! My uncle and his wife now have a wonderful new fine dining option they can come back to again and again that's only 10 minutes away from them, and we can't wait to come back for some different amazing dishes when we visit again from Colorado. The pork chop, the swordfish (special last night) and the Lobster/seafood bisque dip app were all to die for. Our waitress Emma was super friendly and very knowledgeable, and the music in the background was varied, eclectic and delightful. We spent around $300 for four entrees, a decadent appetizer we all split and a bottle of wine and four other drinks, so I felt that was quite reasonable for a fine dining night for four. I Highly recommend checking out this upstairs gem with old town charm and contemporary stylings in downtown Guntersville!

If you’re looking for something different than the other restaurants in the area, this is it! Amazing food, friendly staff! Jake was our server and he was super kind and helpful. Hubby and I made a last minute decision to stop by after fishing and we were glad we did! Everything from the appetizers to the deserts were delicious! We even got complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. We will definitely be back!

If you are passing thru Guntersville, this is a must. Pictured is, osso bucco, oysters on the half shell and escargot. All were absolutely exquisite. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is amazing. The bar keep was attentive and made an excellent margarita for me. Over all this place is a 10/10.

Our party of 3 recently ate here and had an excellent experience. We've moved from the DC area; Old Town Stock House is the best, most gourmet restaurant in the NoAL region that we have found since moving here 2.5 years ago. I can address some of the negative comments: - Yes, the prices are significantly higher than some of the other local establishments but they are absolutely reflective of the superior menu, ingredients, and creativity/flavor profiles. You get what you pay for. So, if you'd rather go pay $15 for fried catfish and okra, then go do that? Fried catfish is delicious. But if you want a more elevated experience, then Old Town Stock House is your best bet. - Vegetarian/Vegan options are available but do let them know when you make your reservation as they'll need time to prepare. - The note about substitutions is very polite and pretty standard on specially curated menus. Consider reading the menu beforehand if you are very picky or have a strong aversion to vegetables. - I had one of the specialty cocktails and it was excellent. I highly recommend the Dapper Dan.

Went with friends for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and service was good and friendly. This is upscale dining so portions are smaller, especially the appetizers for the price. We had duck based on the recommendation from our waitress and it was phenomenal.

Really outstanding, one of the best fine restaurants I’ve tried in a while. Excellent service and the ribeye and bread pudding were both incredible.
