If you have a weekend to spare and are not in a rush to get home than you have to experience this place, even if just one time if passing through. The food is amazing and rich with a great flavor. View is beautiful. The food is always delicious. The staff is always friendly. Worth the drive. The mustard greens and slaw are a must. It is a 50/50 shot if you get upset tummy or not on the way back home. Not many gas stations. But it is worth it every time lol
Great food, service, and portions! Top O' The River always starts you off with pickled onions, slaw, and cornbread which is an awesome combination by itself! If you like turnip greens, I highly suggest you try them. Don't order a large unless you have a large group! I had their ribeye today and
This was my first time experiencing Top O the River. I has always heard that it was good eating from family.
So the trick is don't get full on the cornbread, coleslaw, and Fried pickles! They are all so good but you won't be able to eat your food!
