Every time we eat here the food is so delicious and the portions are so large we end up taking food home! The view is the best on the beach!! I would recommend to everyone that comes to Gulf Shores to make this their number one place to eat and enjoy the beautiful Gulf view!
I have been to this place for the better part of 20 years. I have never had bad food or service. The atmosphere is exactly what you need on vacation. Hell this is a place you would expect Jimmy Buffet to walk through the door and order a beer.
We love this place! My wife and I have been here many times. They have the best nachos on the island, hands down.
I had a great time here this weekend. Showed up, welcomed immediately. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was Jennifer and she rocked. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We never had an empty drink even though she was slammed. Definitely going back when on vacation again.
I love this place! I’ve been coming here since the 80’s! I live out of state but frequent the Gulf. The beach in front of the PP is a great place to sun and swim The staff is always friendly and the food quality is consistent
The most fun place in Gulf Shores! The food, the service, and the customers singing karaoke!!!

Eating outdoors during the winter months is simply amazing! When you add good food, a GREAT view of the Gulf of Mexico across white sugar sands, and friends it becomes wonderful. The chicken nachos are outstanding and very large, so it is enough to share. The burger, just try it for yourself and you can decide. I quite enjoyed mine along with fries which were very crisp and tasty.
This place was okay. Cute & fun atmosphere, decent food but nothing too really brag about. The operating hours on Google are correct, not the website.
While our server was friendly & pleasant, after we got our food we didn't see him but maybe right after to ask how we liked our food (but he checked on us plenty before we received our food). It wasn't until my husband & I started killing time on our phones did he come by with the check.
Small, vintage burger and beach bar appropriately on the beach.
First time visit and was satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. Enjoyed some chargrilled oysters (slightly over charred) and a blackened grouper sandwich (on a bun like a good beach sandwich).
Despite a wait of 45 minutes, it was worth it.
Staff was friendly and attentive despite the full and very busy restaurant.
Recommend stopping by when you visit Gulf Shores.
It was a beautiful sunny day and it was great to sit outside on the deck, eat and enjoy the waterfront view. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated outside. Food was good, not great. I wish they had more options on their menu. I got bbq shrimp (nothing bbq about it as it sits in a butter sauce) and Cole slaw. The shrimp and cole slaw were good. (Most times people mess up Cole slaw) My husband got the grilled fish basket and the fish was too greasy. But the view was fantastic.
It’s been about 30 years since I walked up the ramp to the Pink Pony to get an adult beverage. And it’s still the same!! It was a blast from the past. So awesome! I don’t remember the food being so good. Maybe it’s because when I was younger I didn’t have time for food at the beach! But the fish basket was really, really good! The service was amazing. The waitress was on point. Truly a place that you must visit!
Parking is $5 for 4 hours just off of the U-shaped drive. Pay with credit card at the kiosk and put the receipt in on your dashboard. You can reduce your seating wait time if you’re open to indoor or outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is wooden picnic benches overlooking the beach. There is no canopy over outdoor seating. The picnic benches are not painted, so if it rained recently these are going to stay wet for a while. May want to bring a trash bag to sit on, unless they change to seating they can wipe down. The Pink Pony mural on the walkway up to the entrance is a must for pic. There’s another good photo opp at the lot Pink Pony sign hanging over the bar. Drinks and food were great. The Classic Cobb Salad had a lot of chopped bacon on it. Not just bacon bits, but legit bacon. Looked like a 1/4 cup on there. I substituted honey mustard for ranch dressing. Would order this again. The Honey Roasted Turkey and Bacon Club was good too. This sandwich had 1/4 inch slabs of turkey, not thin-sliced deli style. Another good item. The Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Spaghettini was the best though. The jalapeños were mild. Mind you this could be different for each dish as there is a lot of variation in Scoville heat units from jalapeño to jalapeño. My 12 year-old said it tasted pretty mild as far as heat. Really good flavor. It was quite a bit of food. It could be shared between two people. On to the drinks. The $10 frozen Watermelon Margarita was excellent. Could barely taste the tequila, but still potent. I preferred the $8 Raspberry Blast. Forgot the name of the third drink with coconut, but it was also good. All drinks came in plastic/styrofoam cups. 18% gratuity was auto added for a group of 6 people. Bathroom was clean. Planning to come back next year and try some different drinks.
